Political satirist Randy Rainbow serves up his hysterical parody “There Is Nothin’ Like A Wall,” riffing on the hit song from the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, South Pacific.
The video in set against the backdrop of Rainbow interviewing Vice President (and “RuPaul’s Drag Race season 3 finalist”) Mike Pence.
There’s lots of news going on around the upcoming January arraignment of Oscar winner Kevin Spacey regarding allegations of sexual assault.
Ever since the explosion of reports of inappropriate sexual misconduct began over a year ago, the bad press has made employment options for Spacey understandably slim.
His agents fired him, his publicist fired him, his manager fired him. I mean, what’s he gonna do?
Perhaps there’s work to be had as… an infomercial pitchman?
That’s what the funny folks at VegBurger envision in this neatly-edited parody video which riffs off Spacey’s recent creepy YouTube video
Watch as Spacey extols the virtues of “Stiff Cup” – a nearly indestructible coffee mug – as “too strong, too powerful.”
The Stiff Cup is also, apparently, very easy to use (“Wouldn’t that be easy? If it was all so simple?”).

As a fourth accuser has come forward regarding alleged sexual assault/misconduct by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanuagh just days before Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Randy Rainbow comes to the rescue with another brilliant political parody.
Rainbow brings us his take on the venerable Lerner/Loewe classic, “Camelot.” But in this case, he’s thinking “Kavanaugh.”

This time, Randy offers his parody of “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General,” a patter song from Gilbert and Sullivan’s 1879 comic opera The Pirates of Penzance.
In Mr. Rainbow’s iteration, though, we are discussing Donald Trump being “A Very Stable Gen-i-us.”

On a lighter note, The New Yorker’s brilliant satirist Andy Borowitz “reports” that Donald Trump’s big military parade will not be possible as hundreds of thousands of military service members have suddenly developed bone spurs making marching in a parade simply impossible.
The Pentagon has turned down Donald J. Trump’s request for a grand military parade in Washington, D.C., citing a sudden outbreak of bone spurs that would prevent men and women in uniform from participating.
Harland Dorrinson, a Pentagon spokesman, said that, within an hour of Trump’s request, more than a hundred thousand military personnel complained that they were suffering from acute cases of bone spurs that would make marching in such a parade a painful ordeal.
“In the history of the U.S. military, we have never experienced a bone-spur epidemic of this magnitude,” the spokesman said. “Regrettably, however, we have no choice but to issue thousands of deferments.”
Ah yeah, Monday gets kicked off in sassy 60s-style as Randy Rainbow rocks a riff on “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Broadway blockbuster Hairspray.
Randy’s high-energy, rapid-fire lyrics are totally on point as he tweaks the Tweeter in Chief with “You Can’t Stop His Tweets.” And Marc Shaiman’s melody was totally built to bop to.
This may be Randy’s best parody song yet.
