MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Hosts: Kellyanne Conway Secretly Loathes President Trump

Remember when MSNBC Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough were BFFs with the Trumpster and company?

Not so much these days.

This morning the newly engaged duo informed their viewers that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway actually hated having to defend Donald Trump during the 2016 election.

Here’s Brzezinski’s take on how Conway’s appearances would go once the cameras and microphones were off:

“This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion. And then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off, and she would say ‘Bleeech, I need to take a shower’ because she disliked her candidate so much.”

SNL Cold Open Skewers “Morning Joe” Love Birds

This week, MSNBC’s Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski announced they are indeed dating and now engaged!

Cue the Saturday Night Live sketch where Kate McKinnon as “Mika Brzezinski” and Alex Moffat as “Joe Scarborough” can’t seem to stay focused on news issues as they have other things on their minds.

To the shock of their journalist guests, they devolve into google-eyed, ovey-dovey cute talk.

Oh – and they take a call from a “new publicist” at the Trump White House named “John Miller.”

Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s Awkward “Morning Joe” Interview Cut Short

Florida Gov. Rick Scott appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” (albeit briefly) this morning to discuss the upcoming Republican primary taking place in his state this coming Tuesday.

But when Scott refused to answer any questions from either host Joe Scarborough or Mika Brzezinski – “Who do you endorse?” “Do you believe Muslims hate America?” – or even have an opinion on the subjects, Brzezinski had had enough.

From Politico:

“I’m just asking, generally, do you think that Muslims hate Americans, that Islam hates America as Donald Trump said last night,” Scarborough pressed. “I can tell you what’s going on in Florida,” Scott began, before Scarborough interrupted and asked again for him to answer the question.

“Do you personally think that Islam is a religion that hates America?” Scarborough asked. Scott’s response was that Florida has a lot of Muslims and Latin Americans who all get along. “We’re a great melting point. That’s what I can tell you about our state,” Scott said. “Donald Trump, he can talk about the things he wants to talk about. Marco Rubio can, Ted Cruz, John Kasich…”

Co-host Mika Brzezinski wasn’t satisfied. “That’s not answering any questions. Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, I know you and Joe are friends and this is kind of awkward, but can you answer the question or should we scoot?” she asked.

I can’t imagine why Scott even went on the program. He clearly didn’t want to get into any specific opinion or policy. Perhaps he wanted to raise his national profile? If so, this backfired badly.

In the end, all you remember is Scott with a “Joker-like” grin trying to dodge anything of substance. #Fail

Donald Trump Doesn’t Think Having Supporters Raise Their Hand & Pledge To Him Looks Hitler-esque

Calling in to MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” today, Donald Trump said that having his supporters raise their hands and pledge their votes to him was in no way reminiscent of the famous “Heil Hitler” salute. In fact, he said he had “just heard” about such ideas and was surprised anyone could think that.

Trump also dodged questions on his “foreign policy” team telling co-host Mika Brzezinski that although she’s asked him three times over the past several weeks, he said he’d would reveal his team when the time was right.

Also on “Morning Joe” today, both Mika and Joe Scarborough seemed very defensive about their frequent interviews with The Donald. I’m guessing the rumors of them being a bit too cozy with the Trumpster have touched a nerve. Mika and Joe both made a big deal defending their Trump segments and saying they would welcome any of the other presidential candidates calling in at any time.
