• Congrats to Allison Ikley-Freeman, an openly lesbian married woman who was just elected to Oklahoma state senate in a district that Donald Trump won in last year’s presidential election.

• Remember this Australian couple who said they would divorce if marriage equality came to Australia? No word yet on whether they intend on following through on that…

Some news items you might have missed:

• Well hello there, Jared Techau (above). Fortunately for his Instagram followers, the University of Kentucky grad is dating photographer Brian Kaminski who’s on his gig capturing Techau regularly.

• An organization that delivers meals to people with HIV/AIDS in hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico has been without electricity for more than two months.

• A new Fox News poll shows Democrat Doug Jones leading in the Alabama Senate race against embattled Republican Roy Moore 50%-42%.

• Amazon is considering writing out Jeffrey Tambor’s transgender lead character in it’s award-winning series Transparent due to allegations of sexual misconduct by Tambor.

• A federal judge has declared a mistrial in New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez’s corruption case due to a deadlocked jury. Republicans were looking for a guilty verdict in hopes GOP Gov. Chris Christie would get to appoint a replacement before he leaves office.

• GLAAD has teamed up with gay songwriter/activist Justin Tranter to create a PSA Calling for more LGBTQ inclusion in music. The video features a wide range of folks from RuPaul to country songwriter Shane McAnally and members of the Los Angeles Trans Chorus. Watch below.

Happy Hunk Day!

More than halfway through the week, so here’s some eye candy to get you to the weekend.

The pic above is an outtake from a Chippendales calendar shoot from a couple of years ago when hubby Michael used to art direct the annual beefcake collections.

Michael began a tradition of jumping into frame for at least one pic with each Chippendale like he was stalking them. Veteran Chipp Billy Jeffrey knew how to tune it all out like a champ.

I’ve told Michael he should put out his own calendar with his cameo appearances… LOL

Just Because: Hump Day

Christian Olivo

Well, hello there Mr. Christian Olivo.

According to IMDB, Christian is getting very busy in Hollywood.

I can see why.

The dashing Mr. Olivo has a role in the upcoming Versace: American Crime Story and has been featured on HBO’s Insecure.

The brawny, brooding actor isn’t just a pretty package, either. According to his bio he scored a perfect 800 on his math SAT and graduated summa cum laude.
