Trump Supporters Destroy Protester Signs At Massachusetts Rally

The atmosphere at Donald Trump rallies continues to devolve as this video from last night shows. Note that the men are sitting quietly holding their signs in their laps when the trouble begins.

The two appear to have been holding handmade signs (“AMERICA IS ALREADY GREAT”) when their seat mates notice and take issue. One Trump supporter shouts “shut your mouth!” at the silent man, while another demands “You’re at a Trump rally? Ditch those. Ditch ’em.”

After these neighboring men tore up the signs, the two protesters are escorted out by Lowell police officers. As usual, it appears Trump took a great deal of satisfaction in the theater of the confrontation, which sent his fans into a frenzy of USA! chants and applause.

So much for public discourse.

And did you catch the woman next to the men try to trip them as they are escorted out?

White House Spokesman Enjoys “Irony” Of Donald Trump/Ted Cruz “Birther” Kerfuffle

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the current Donald Trump/Ted Cruz kerfuffle about Cruz’s “eligibility” to be elected president given he was born in Canada.

For the record – yes, Sen. Cruz is a natural-born American since his mother was an American.

Earnest gets a bit of a smile here as he comments on the possible irony of the situation given the years of ridiculous questions about President Obama’s birth certificate.

Says Earnest, “It would be quite ironic if after 7 or 8 years of drama around the president’s birth certificate if Republican primary voters were to choose Senator Cruz as their nominee. Somebody who actually wasn’t born in the United States and only 15 months ago renounced his Canadian citizenship.”

On another note – Mr. Earnest is quite the good looking guy, no?  🙂

Donald Trump Calls Bill Clinton “One Of The Great Woman Abusers Of All Time”

Republican presidential contender Donald Trump called in to CNN’s New Day to toss some word salad regarding his renewed attacks on Bill Clinton saying the former president is “seedy” and “one of the great woman abusers of all time,”

Trump added that Hillary Clinton is somehow to blame for Bill’s past indiscretions calling her his “enabler.”

In Trump’s head, attacking Bill Clinton (who is not running for office) will somehow help him take out Hillary.  In the past, such attacks have only served to shore up support for Hillary.

Donald Trump Drops First Campaign Ad

Donald Trump has released his first campaign ad, and it’s as brash as you’d expect.

Promises to “cut the head off of ISIS” and take their oil. along with building a great wall along our southern border “that Mexico will pay for.”

Regarding the spot, Trump said in a statement, “I am very proud of this ad, I don’t know if I need it, but I don’t want to take any chances because if I win we are going to Make America Great Again.”

Hillary Was Right – Trump Hate Speech Being Used In Terrorist Recruitment Video

Donald Trump went ballistic last month when Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton said during a debate that ISIS was taking Trump’s hate speech as a recruitment tool.

Clinton said that ISIS was “going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”

Now, a video has surfaced showing pretty much just that.

From CNN:

An al Qaeda affiliate has apparently released a new recruitment video, telling Muslims in America that the country has a long history of racism and discrimination and will turn on its Muslim community.

The video purportedly by Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab uses historic civil rights era footage of firebrand Malcolm X and audio of 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump to label the United States a racist society.

In the wake of the San Bernardino shootings last month, Trump said he wanted “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”

The video runs this line, bleeping out the word “hell.”

Before that, Trump had called for surveillance of mosques and said he was open to establishing a database for all Muslims living in the country.

The video also includes recent footage of police shootings and violence against African Americans in Ferguson and Baltimore — and claims that this is what is in store for American Muslims.

Trump’s campaign has not responded to the video.

Donald Trump Reminds Iowa Ted Cruz Is Cuban

With Sen. Ted Cruz leading in polls before the upcoming Republican Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump took time to remind folks that Cruz is Cuban.

“In all fairness, to the best of my knowledge, not too many evangelicals come out of Cuba, OK? Just remember that, OK? Just remember. In all fairness, remember that folks. When you’re casting your ballot, remember.”

Henry Rollins On Donald Trump: “A Bored Rich Guy Just Being Crass”

“I’m not a Trump fan at all, but he will say what’s on his mind. Like, ‘No more Muslims!’” Rollins snorted, amused. “You just said that. And of course in this country, a lot of people agree. Trump, one day he held up his cellphone and said, ‘Here’s Lindsey Graham’s number!’ I could not not laugh. That was FUNNY. He would be a disastrous president, but at the same time I don’t think he wants to be president. I think he’s a bored rich guy just being crass.”
