Donald Trump Now Has “Freedom Girls” Cheerleaders

Salon points up Donald Trump’s new “official jam” to be performed at his rallies.

Wait. Wait….

A capacity crowd of 10,000 packed into the Pensacola Bay Center Wednesday night for Donald Trump’s latest stop in the Sunshine state and were treated to a patriotic, bubble gum pop trio sensation delivering the campaign’s new “official jam.”

R.E.M. may not want The Donald featuring their music during his massive rallies, but three young members of the Freedom Kids offered the Republican presidential frontrunner a catchy, personalized song to set-off his often rambunctious rallies.

“Cowardiiiiiiiice,” the adorable tikes begin. “Are you serious?” a pint-sized voice asks. “Apologies for freedom? I can’t handle this.”

“When freedom rings answer the call!” the girls implore while acting out the song’s lyrics in American flag adorned ensembles. “On your feet, stand up tall!”

“Enemies of freedom face the music, come on boys take ’em down/President Donald Trump knows how to make America great/Deal from strength or get crushed every time!”

Donald Trump Started Playing “Born In The USA” At Rallies To Taunt Ted Cruz

Now that he has raised questions about Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) Canadian birth and American citizenship, Donald Trump has started playing Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” before campaign rallies, according to reports in The Weekly Standard and the Texas Tribune.

The introduction of the song may be an attempt by the real estate mogul to troll Cruz as many openly wonder whether he is eligible to run for president.

Cruz was born in Canada, but his mother was an American citizen, earning Cruz citizenship in the United States at birth. The Texas senator has repeatedly said that he is eligible to run for president.

Muslim Woman Ejected From Trump Rally For Silent Protest

A Muslim woman stands silently with a t-shirt that read “I Come In Peace” at Donald Trump rally and gets booed and ejected.

A Muslim woman wearing a hijab was escorted out of Donald Trump’s campaign event on Friday by police after she stood up in silent protest during Trump’s speech.

Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant sitting in the stands directly behind Trump, stood up Friday during Trump’s speech when the Republican front-runner suggested that Syrian refugees fleeing war in Syria were affiliated with ISIS.

Despite her silence, Trump supporters around her began chanting Trump’s name — as instructed by Trump campaign staff before the event in case of protests — and pointed at Hamid and Marty Rosenbluth, the man alongside her who stood up as well.

As they were escorted out, Trump supporters roared — booing the pair and shouting at them to “get out.” One person shouted, “You have a bomb, you have a bomb,” according to Hamid.

In this second clip, Hamid speaks to CNN about what happened.

“There were people who were very nice and sharing their popcorn. It was very nice, people around me, the people I had conversations with. But then what happened when the crowd got this hateful crowd mentality as I was being escorted. It was really quite telling and a vivid example of what happens when you start using this hateful rhetoric, and how it can incite a crowd where moments ago were very kind to me. One woman reached over and shook my hand and said “I’m so sorry this is happening to you.”

The behavior that Trump is inciting is so hateful and divisive. THIS could be our next president?

Gallup Poll Shows Jeb Bush Net Favorable Rating Dropped 28 Points In Six Month

According to the latest Gallup U.S. Daily poll, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has seen his net favorable rating among Republicans drop a precipitous 28 points to a sad -1. He currently has a 44% Favorable rating versus his 45% Unfavorable rating.

That means Bush has the worst Net Favorable rating in terms of major political players in the GOP race.

Donald Trump comes in with 35% Unfavorable rating, second only to Bush. Think on that one for the current front runner – 35% of what should be his base have a negative view of him.

Interestingly, Sen. Ted Cruz has the lowest Unfavorable rating with only 16% of Republicans viewing him in negative terms.

Trump Supporters Destroy Protester Signs At Massachusetts Rally

The atmosphere at Donald Trump rallies continues to devolve as this video from last night shows. Note that the men are sitting quietly holding their signs in their laps when the trouble begins.

The two appear to have been holding handmade signs (“AMERICA IS ALREADY GREAT”) when their seat mates notice and take issue. One Trump supporter shouts “shut your mouth!” at the silent man, while another demands “You’re at a Trump rally? Ditch those. Ditch ’em.”

After these neighboring men tore up the signs, the two protesters are escorted out by Lowell police officers. As usual, it appears Trump took a great deal of satisfaction in the theater of the confrontation, which sent his fans into a frenzy of USA! chants and applause.

So much for public discourse.

And did you catch the woman next to the men try to trip them as they are escorted out?

White House Spokesman Enjoys “Irony” Of Donald Trump/Ted Cruz “Birther” Kerfuffle

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the current Donald Trump/Ted Cruz kerfuffle about Cruz’s “eligibility” to be elected president given he was born in Canada.

For the record – yes, Sen. Cruz is a natural-born American since his mother was an American.

Earnest gets a bit of a smile here as he comments on the possible irony of the situation given the years of ridiculous questions about President Obama’s birth certificate.

Says Earnest, “It would be quite ironic if after 7 or 8 years of drama around the president’s birth certificate if Republican primary voters were to choose Senator Cruz as their nominee. Somebody who actually wasn’t born in the United States and only 15 months ago renounced his Canadian citizenship.”

On another note – Mr. Earnest is quite the good looking guy, no?  🙂
