NOM’s Brian Brown loses his sh*t over Illinois GOP leader backing marriage equality

“Brady has betrayed us, betrayed his party, misrepresented “key Republican values,” and insulted conservative voters in Illinois and across America who deserve leaders who refuse to sell out on such a fundamental and crucial issue like the defense of marriage, children and family. The future of marriage in Illinois demands that Brady be replaced immediately with a brave pro-marriage individual who will fight back against the out-of-state liberal activists now attempting to impose gay marriage on the Land of Lincoln without the will or consent of the we the people. Tell the Illinois GOP today that Pat Brady must go, and that it is time for the party to reinforce real ‘key Republican values’ — marriage and family, the well-being of children, the rule of law, and the rights of voters like you and me.” – National Organization for Marriage leader Brian Brown

What I find rich in Brian’s statement is HE represents “out-of-state” conservative activists who spend thousands of dollars trying to impose THEIR  will on local politics.

Brian – conservatives scream that marriage is a “states rights” issue.  How about you stay in YOUR state and advocate there?

NC: A man, a rifle and a defenseless sign

Funny how proud & cool this guy thinks he is for shooting a sign.

Yep – he really took care of things.

UPDATE – May 1, 2012: Cabarrus County deputies spent more than an hour at the teen’s home after learning about the video. They believe the 17-year-old Jonathan Wiles took the sign from an intersection and set it up in his backyard where he recorded himself firing several shots at it.

County officials said its investigation is not over. There is a county ordinance that deals with using firearms near other homes. Officials are also looking into the possibility of additional charges.

‘Deadbeat dad’ Joe Walsh has a meltdown

After several constituents accurately pointed out that bank lobbyists occupy key positions within Congress, the SEC, and other oversight bodies that are supposed to supervise bank practices, Walsh began sticking his finger close to his constituent’s faces, yelling, “quiet for a minute or I’ll have to ask you to leave.”

Remember this is the guy who owes over $100K in child support to his ex-wife.

Get to the 1:22 mark, it gets pretty interesting…
