Arrow/Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes went on an unexplained Twitter rant last night calling out Hollywood power peeps for not hiring more openly LGBT actors.
Haynes did, however, reserve praise for Hollywood execs Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story), Greg Berlanti (Arrow) and Jeff Davis (Teen Wolf) who have cast the handsome Haynes in his three most high-profile roles.
“Hollywood is so f**ked up. So much of the focus is on your personal life & has nothing to do with the talent you have to bring to the table.”
“Thank god for Ryan Murphy, Greg Berlanti, & Jeff Davis. They believe gay actors are more than just their personal lives.
“So disappointed in how Hollywood cant understand that playing a character has nothing to do with how u live your personal life.”
Haynes makes his return to Teen Wolf in the September 10 episode with fellow alum Charlie Carver as a hottie gay were-couple, and will also appear in the upcoming season of American Horror Story: Cult beginning September 5.

First Look at Wentworth Miller as “Captain Cold” on THE FLASH
Regular readers of The Randy Report know I’m a bit of a comic book geek, so I love the latest TV versions of super-heros brought to life.
This week saw the debut of Greg Berlanti’s latest TV iteration of superheroes, The Flash. The show is a spin-off of the popular ARROW. What all of these creative explorations of legendary comic book characters have in common is a lot of eye candy along with the “deeper than expected” story lines.
THE FLASH includes the return of out gay actor Wentworth Miller to TV. Miller plays Barry Allen’s nemesis Captain Cold.

Just part of the reason why you should be tuning in on Wednesday night’s to the CD’s “Arrow.”
As if this wasn’t enough…
Stephen Amell has no problem having gay fans

| A shirtless Stephen Amell is just one reason to like ARROW on the CW |
So, being the comic book geek that I am, I’m a big fan of the CW’s series “Arrow” starring Stephen Amell. On top of some cool story-telling, there’s the very attractive cast led by Stephen Amell.
Amell made a stop by Chelsea Lately this week and just got even cooler in my book. When Chelsea clarifies that he is straight so the gays shouldn’t proposition him, Stephen quickly slapped that down saying “People can hit on me if they want to!”
So he’s not only easy on the eyes, but he’s confident with himself and comfortable with his gay fans.
Catch Mr. Amell and company on Wednesdays on the CW.

Colton Haynes, of the CW’s ARROW and MTV’s TEEN WOLF, sings a cover of Dan + Shay’s “19 You + Me” with the New Heights.
And then there’s Colton’s current ARROW promo pic… yeah.
The CW launches shirtless campaign for Season 2 of “Arrow”
Preview of Season 2 – “Arrow”
This was shown at ComicCon in San Diego this week.
Looks like “Black Canary” finally shows up. And I’m thinking Wally Harper will eventually become “Speedy.”
(god, I’m such a comic book geek…)
New season starts October 9, 2013 on the CW.
CW Network picks up full season of ARROW
The CW has ordered a full season of Arrow, the network announced Monday.
The show, which stars Stephen Amell and is based on the Green Arrow comic book character, was one of the fall’s early breakout hits, drawing 4.14 million viewers for its premiere.
It was also the only new drama to maintain its viewership among adults 18 to 49 in its second week.
