With the premiere of the eighth and final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones set for April 14, uber-talented Allison Lane and creative partner Chris Ritter serve up this delightful parody of Chicago the Musical’s “Cellblock Tango.”
Only here, we are celebrating the merry murderesses of Westeros!
Watch Arya Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Lady Olenna Tyrell, Sansa Stark, Brienne of Tarth, & Cersei Lannister explain why all those men “Had It Comin”!
The talented Ms. Allison Lane comes up with this Melania-themed parody of “What I Did For Love” from the hit Broadway musical, A Chorus Line.
Titled, “A Slovenian Love Ballad,” Lane imagines the current First Lady as a sad, kept gold-digger woman longing for her freedom; freedom that may be looming “as indictments pile on, divorce it soon may follow.”
Truth be told, Lane isn’t the only one thinking along those lines.
I’ve featured Lane on The Randy Report before here. Watch her latest below.
While I’m not so sure that “imitation is the highest form of flattery,” I can definitely guarantee that parody will be the most popular form of commentary now that the Trump administration is offering up so much material.
From funny girl Allison Lane: “Kellyanne Conway finally admits her Alternative Facts are just LIES! She sings her version of the feminist anthem “I Am Woman” in this song parody, now titled “I’m Trump’s Woman”. It’s Kellyanne Conway VS Anderson Cooper… who is not having it!”
