Rape Investigation Of FL GOP Chair Expands To ‘Video Voyeurism’

In the last weeks of 2023, Florida GOP Chairman Christian Ziegler and his wife Bridget found themselves mired in controversy after a woman with whom the Zieglers had previously had sexual three-ways accused Christian of rape. During a November 2 police interview, Ziegler provided video footage he took of the sexual encounter with his accuser. He claims it proves he didn’t “rape” her. But the video is now backfiring on the GOP chair as police say he may have violated state law prohibiting video voyeurism (recording another person without their consent), a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
