The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to review a ruling from a federal appeals court last year that held in favor of a transgender middle school student in Indiana to use the boys’ bathroom. Today’s decision leaves the lower court’s ruling in place, requiring the school to treat trans students equally. Less than an hour after the Iowa Republican caucuses began, the Associated Press declared Donald Trump would be the winner. As some polls had predicted, Trump won by nearly 30 points with (at this writing) 56,260 votes. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in a distant second with 23,420 votes, and former South Carolina Gov.
