Quebec launches 5 year anti-homophobia campaign

From GlobalNews: A public display of affection between a couple shouldn’t usually elicit a reaction from people.

But what if those engaging in that passionate smooch are a same-sex couple?

The Quebec government has launched a unique advertising campaign designed to get the province thinking about just how open-minded it really is when it comes to homosexuality.

The TV, radio and web campaign shows routine, everyday scenes in which the viewer has no idea until the end that the ad is about sexual orientation.

The ads were developed by Cossette Communications in Quebec City over the past year. They’re part of a $7.1 million, five-year anti-homophobia campaign by the provincial government.

Completely adorable Marines couple answer questions

Now, I’m not a huge fan of the word, but how adorable are these two?
Matt and Russ – both gay Marines, post personal videos on Russ’s YouTube channel, RussMarine2014.
Taking questions from the public, Russ and Matt answer a list of questions, from how they met, to what kind of underwear they prefer.
Charming and disarming at the same time, they are much fun to watch.  At least I think so…

Cheyenne Jackson – “Your Song” live and unedited

Ok, so if you somehow were not a fan of Mr. Jackson YET, you should be after this.

I’ve met Cheyenne, and he’s just as down to earth and comfortable with folks as you would imagine.

Great song, terrific voice (love the edge to his tone), authentic and completely devoid of pretense, Cheyenne shares a great Elton John/Bernie Taupin classic.

Serious bonus points for the canine cameo at 2:18.

Eurovision Song Contest: Sweden’s Robin Stjernberg – “You”

Sweden’s entry this year in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Great hook to the chorus, and great vocals by Robin Stjernberg. Could be a contender here…

Last year’s Melodifestivalen winner, Loreen, ended up winning Eurovision with her smash hit Euphoria. Due to that win, the finals for the Eurovision Song competition will be held in Sweden this year.

Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city, will play host to the show in May.
