I LOVE Downton Abbey. I watched one episode and then lost that weekend watching every episode in a marathon.
The show recently announced the addition of it’s first black character. But P Diddy has proof he’s been there the whole series.
As I hit play, I wasn’t too sure about this new Funny or Die video, but it’s really well done and made me laugh.
Diddy teased the video with this tweet:
Hey NYC – don’t miss the 7th Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant this coming Monday, May 20th, to benefit the very deserving Ali Forney Center.
The Broadway Beauty Pageant will feature male cast members representing their respective Broadway shows, competing for the title crown through talent, interview and swimsuit competitions. The contestants will go head to head in front of a panel of celebrity judges, but ultimately, the final vote is in the hands of the audience members.
This year’s event will be hosted by Tovah Feldshuh, and the fab celeb judges are Broadway favorites Billy Porter (KINKY BOOTS), Andrea Martin (PIPPIN) and Michael Urie (HOW TO SUCCEED…).
The mission of the Ali Forney Center is to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) youth from the harm of homelessness, and to support them in becoming safe and independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood. Find out more about the Center by clicking here.
According to an Equality Matters analysis, the network completely ignored the passage of marriage equality legislation in Delaware and made only passing mentions of Rhode Island and Minnesota’s new marriage laws.
CNN and MSNBC made 13 and 35 mentions of the stories, respectively.
Just saying…
New poll from Gallup shows more Americans believe gay and lesbian individuals are more likely born homosexual than evolve our of environment:
Currently, 47% of Americans view being gay or lesbian as a sexual orientation individuals are born with, while 33% instead believe it is due to external factors such as upbringing or environment.
That 14-percentage-point gap in favor of “nature” over “nurture” is the largest Gallup has measured to date. As recently as two years ago, the public was evenly divided.
USAToday shares this interview with 90210 & DWTS hunk Ian Ziering about getting in shape for his upcoming hosting stint with Chippendales at the Rio All-Suites Hotel in Las Vegas during the month of June 2013.
So, I’m currently in a phase of looking to drop some “winter weight” myself, and what do I come across this morning?
Hugh Jackman, looking completely, totally ripped, on the set of the upcoming film “Wolverine.”
The film’s director James Mangold tweeted this shot of Hugh Jackman facing off against Hiroyuki Sanada on the set.
Now, if Hugh Jackman can get to THIS – surely I can drop 12 pounds, yes?
(Say yes, kids. Looking for some hope here…)

Twins Jason and Jarron (“the straight one”) Collins bring some humor to what might be one of the year’s biggest sports and LGBT stories in a sit-down with Jimmy Kimmel.
When asked if the “coming out” experience was positive, brother Jarron jumps in to share that Jason went from 3,000 Twitter follwers to over 100K in 24 hours.
Yeah, I think folks are not having a big problem with Jason.
There. See? All good.

From the Washington Post: 56 percent of Virginia voters support same-sex marriage up from 46 percent just two years ago.
