Michele Bachmann’s New Hampshire team quits en masse
Staff members in New Hampshire for presidential candidate Michele Bachmann have resigned en masse, a Republican familiar with the situation said on Friday, in a fresh blow to her 2012 hopes.
All of the staffers, said to number six, resigned on Thursday, the Republican said.
New Hampshire’s WMUR television said the reason given was due to the Bachmann campaign’s lack of focus on New Hampshire, which holds the country’s first primary election.
“It certainly underscores the impression that New Hampshire isn’t a priority for her. She’s totally written us off,” said former Republican state legislator Fran Wendelboe.

Herman Cain and his abortion problem with the GOP
Herman Cain’s campaign has run into his first big snag as his position on abortion – that he is personally anti-abortion but believes it’s “not the government’s role to make that decision” – became clearer to conservative Iowa activists.
“That is a pro-choice position,” Bob Vander Plaats, a social conservative leader in Iowa, told The Huffington Post. “It’s not where we’re at on the issue and it’s not where a lot of caucus-goers are at on the life issue. They believe Roe v. Wade should be overturned.”
Cain put out a statement late in the day on Thursday trying to clarify his position, but he still did not address the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, raising questions about whether he believes in the legal right to abortion despite his strenuous rhetoric in the past claiming to be, in his own words, “pro-life.”

Dan Savage has challenged Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain to perform a sex act on him to prove that being gay is a choice.
The “It Gets Better” activist was incensed at comments Cain made to CNN’s Piers Morgan earlier this week. “I think it’s a sin because of my biblical beliefs,” Cain said on Wednesday. “And although people don’t agree with me, I happen to think that it is a choice.”
On his blog Savage posted an open letter to Cain:
Dear Herman,
If being gay is a choice, show us the proof. Choose it. Choose to be gay yourself. Show America how that’s done, Herman, show us how a man can choose to be gay. Suck my dick, Herman. Name the time and the place and I’ll bring my dick and a camera crew and you can suck me off and win the argument.

But Savage had more to say: “When someone argues that being gay is a choice, he’s not just insulting gay people. (And ignoring the science of sexual orientation.) He’s insulting straight people. If homosexuality is a choice, then so is heterosexuality.”
“Last night on CNN Herman Cain said that being straight is something that a straight person can take or leave. Herman Cain believes that heterosexuality is something a heterosexual can decide to walk away from, like an underwater house or a lousy meal. Straight people should get angry when they hear a straight person making this argument.”

It’s killing Republicans to give President Obama any credit for the fall of Qadhafi in Libya. Sen. McCain couldn’t barely be pushed to include the President in credit yesterday, saying “congratulations to the UK and French” on CNN. When pressed that the President made the decision to be a part of the coalition, McCain begrudgingly gave a little credit to the President.
One group of Republicans say we shouldn’t have gone in at all; another say we didn’t do enough sooner.
Fact is in 6 months, with a thoughtful approach with allies, Qadhafi is gone and we didn’t lose a single American life.

Hate Group: Teaching kids about LGBT contributions “amounts to mental molestation”
Save California says that since the effort to repeal SB48 has failed, Christian parents must now remove their children from public schools. Or else they will be “mentally molested.”
The only way to opt out your children from this mess is to exit the government schools and enter the Promised Land of homeschooling and church school. Millions of parents in the United States have exited the government schools; you can too. You CAN homeschool or AFFORD a low-cost church school. To give your children the best and to protect them from ruinous influences that drag down their character, this is your only option.
While some parents may initially find this solution uncomfortable or difficult, my question is this: How much worse does it have to get before you intervene? If a speeding car was on a collision course with your child, wouldn’t you do all you could to rush to rescue your child? And what if you found out someone was planning to sexually molest your child? Nothing could stop you from rescuing your boy or girl. Think about it. If we are so concerned about the physical safety of children, why wouldn’t we also protect their mental, emotional, and spiritual safety? Realize that the raft of school sexual indoctrination mandates imposed on all children in California government schools amounts to mental molestation.
