Mitt Romney: ‘Senior adviser’ does not mean ‘running my campaign’
Hmm… This sounds like semantics to me.
Mitt Romney declares he doesn’t have lobbyists ‘running’ his campaign. But when reporter points out a senior Romney advisor is a lobbyist, Romney says “well, he’s a lobbyist, but he’s just an advisor – he isn’t ‘running’ my campaign.”
That’s splitting hairs to a big degree it seems.
The point for the American people, I believe, is: are lobbyists telling candidates what positions and policies to hold? Are lobbyists involved in the development of candidates campaigns?
I think we know the answer.

I think this is one of the most romantic music videos to come from an ‘out’ singer/songwriter.
Love the song, love the lyrics – and don’t you get a sense of Peter Allen in Matt’s vocals…?
Levi Kreis – “I Should Go”
So, I’ve known this song – and artist – for years. Levi won A Tony Award for his role in “Million Dollar Quartet,” but he’s been a successful ‘out’ singer/songwriter for years.
It turns out this song was featured on The Vampire Diaries on the season finale this past spring… who knew?
I do know I like the song and vocal a lot.

Kristy McNichol comes out
Best known for her Emmy Award-winning role as Buddy Lawrence in the ’70s show Family and later as Barbara Weston in Empty Nest, Kristy McNichol left it all behind when she dropped out of Hollywood to focus on her health.
McNichol, 49, who has lived with her partner Martie Allen, also 49, for the past two decades, decided to make a statement about her sexuality and share this photo because she is “approaching 50” and wants to “be open about who I am.”
She “is very sad about kids being bullied,” her publicist Jeff Ballard tells PEOPLE. “She hopes that coming out can help kids who need support. She would like to help others who feel different.”
Done with acting, McNichol spends her time focusing on tennis, yoga, travel and raising her beloved miniature dachshunds. “She is very happy and healthy,” says Ballard. “And she enjoys living a very private life.”

Wonder Woman returns to NBC – kind of…
According to TV Guide, the controversial costume from the writer’s mostly-unseen Wonder Woman pilot will be worn by none other than Erica Durance — Smallville’s Lois Lane — on the January 11 episode of Harry’s Law.
In the upcoming episode of the NBC legal series—also written by Kelley—Durance will play a mentally unstable character who actually believes she is Wonder Woman.
“What ends up happening is that my character, Annie Billson, has gone one step too far, or some would say many steps too far, and taken this psychosis, this vigilantism a little far in the opinion of society and she’s hurt one too many people, and so she’s actually been charged with a crime,” Durance told TV Guide. “She goes to see Adam (Nate Corddry), whom she has a history with and has gone to high school with. He knows her, so she seeks his representation.”
When asked if she would have preferred wearing Wonder Woman’s traditional costume over the long pants version from Kelley’s defunct pilot, Durance said, “I’m very grateful for the pants. I know that people were very excited about the underwear and seeing them. To be quite frank, I don’t know if I could’ve done the underwear justice at this point in time and it might have been more upsetting for people to see me in them than to not, so I think the pants are a safe bet for me.”
Durance’s episode of Harry’s Law will air on NBC at 9/8c on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
