Debuted during GLEE last night.
President Obama pulls us out of a recession AND he’s cool…
Blues night at the White House, February 21, 2012. See the full concert on PBS on February 27.
He lifted America out of a Republican-induced depression.
250,000 new jobs in January 2012. 3.7 million private sector jobs in three years.
He saw to it that bin Laden was eliminated.
Ended the war in Iraq.
He rescued the auto industry – which is now booming, like never before. Keeping good American jobs here in the US.
After near catastrophe, America is loved and respected again.
AND he sings.
You can have Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney or a guy who’s heading us in the right direction. Is this a hard question?
I mean, SRSLY.
Come on…
The things we do…. Happy Mardi Gras!

Olivia Newton-John to sing with Daryl Braithwaite in Melbourne
Olivia Newton-John has several reasons to be counting down the days to her performances with the Melbourne Pops Orchestra at the Regent Theatre.
Singing her favourite songs during the A Summer Night concerts is one reason and the other is having Daryl Braithwaite as her special guest. The two used to be classmates at Christ Church Grammar School in South Yarra and sang in the choir together.

| Daryl Braithwaite |
Best known as the lead vocalist of Sherbet, Braithwaite has also sustained a successful solo career, placing 15 singles in the Australian top 40, including the No. 1 hits “You’re My World” and “The Horses”.
”He was a sweet boy then and he’s a lovely man now,” Newton-John said. ”I get to sing a lot of my songs through the ages. I’m really excited because he’s a great singer.”
The way Braithwaite remembers it, they may have held hands for a second and he recalled the childhood crush in his Melbourne Life column last November.
Otherwise, Newton-John has a packed catalogue of songs to choose from: Hopelessly Devoted to You, I Honestly Love You, Have You Never Been Mellow?, Let It Shine, Xanadu, Magic and Physical.
The Grease star, who revived her movie career in the Australian A Few Best Men and features on the soundtrack, is happily married to John Easterling and after her fight with breast cancer in 1992, she’s fighting fit.
One day in June will also be momentous for the singer because her long-awaited Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre will be opened by Austin Health.
”It will be a wonderful place of healing,” she said.
Olivia Newton-John performs A Summer Night with the Melbourne Pops Orchestra at the Regent Theatre on Monday and Tuesday at 8pm.
Funny: The Gentlemen’s Rant – Homophobia
Rick Santorum: Democratic Party is about “homosexuality”
During a 2008 “Press & People of Faith in Politics” forum, Rick Santorum described the Democratic Party as “the party of Woodstock.”
Asked to name a couple of words he’d heard attached to religion and politics in his years in the Senate, Santorum listed “moderate,” “ultra-conservative,” “liberal,” and “zealous” before launching into a full-on tirade against Democrats:
“Woodstock is the great American orgy. This is who the Democratic Party has become. They have become the party of Woodstock. The prey upon our most basic primal lusts, and that’s sex. And the whole abortion culture, it’s not about life. It’s about sexual freedom. That’s what it’s about. Homosexuality. It’s about sexual freedom.”
Of course, Santorum will position Republicans as the “anti-homosexuality” party if he wins the nomination, and has pledged to to annul all same-sex marriages and personally campaign in every state against marriage equality.

Rick Santorum: Bad Lip Reading video
Ok, so some of these “bad lip reading” videos are so-so funny, but this one actually made me laugh out loud.
Funny…
Mitt Romney loves everything in Michigan
I love the trees – they’re the right height.
I love the lakes – big and small.
I love cars.
I love cars.
I love cars.
This performance is called pandering. Pandering to the people of Michigan, specifically.
Remember, Mitt Romney said he would have let the auto industry go bankrupt. He has clearly said he wouldn’t have saved those American jobs.
Recently, Michigan Rep. Fred Upton (R) noted that without the rescue, Michigan “would have hit 40 percent unemployment rates.”
What do you think of a “president” who would choose to allow thousands and thousands of American jobs to disappear when they could be saved?
How would you feel about a “president” who would let YOUR job disappear when it could be saved?
