Yes! The ambulances were even louder and more constant today, so we were, too. #nyc #ThankYouHealthCareWorkers pic.twitter.com/smG7LKF9Bz

Probably the loudest cheering night so far. #newyorkstrong #NewYorkTough @NYTMetro pic.twitter.com/eKVvc7O45u

Nightly clap fest at my bldg. Tonight they played “New York, New York” + everyone made noise. #NYC #uws Nothing is more fashionable right now than supporting our medical workers as they fight coronavirus. Staying home is easy. Saving lives is hard. #dothefive #istayhomefor pic.twitter.com/BH9IAq9czR

Listen to New York’s spirit roar. In this moment of crisis, we may not be able to see our city’s strength, but we can damn sure hear it. Keep truckin’ on, New York. #nyc #EssentialWorkers #HealthcareHeroes #nytough #ClapBecauseWeCare #inwood #uptown #BeatTheVirus pic.twitter.com/wY3YoID01r

This past Sunday night, as the 7PM Cheer began to die down, a rainbow appeared over the city. At the same time, a man who apparently goes by the handle ‘John the Baptist’ ripped a tribute to Jimi Hendrix’s national anthem.

Right as the cheering died down in Jersey City at 7PM tonight, a rainbow appeared outside our window over the Hudson. Made me cry. Tough week. Stay safe everyone. pic.twitter.com/Y8AmltWwaQ
