Donald Trump tweeted this morning that there are fewer and fewer White House briefings because he personally told White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders ‘not to bother’ since ‘the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately.’
The reason Sarah Sanders does not go to the “podium” much anymore is that the press covers her so rudely & inaccurately, in particular certain members of the press. Informing the people of the United States of the ongoing business of government shouldn’t be shut down because Trump doesn’t like the news.
