New music this Friday from several TRR favorites starting with out country music artist Orville Peck teaming up with Grammy Award winner Beck for “Death Valley High” from his upcoming new album, Stampede. The Sin City tribute video also features cameos from RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Gigi Goode and Oscar-nominated Casino actress Sharon Stone. Rising pop artist Micah McLaurin pivots from his classical piano roots with this electro-pop bop, “Call Me,” showing a whole new sassy side of himself. McLaurin just returned from Italy where he performed at Dolce and Gabbana’s Couture Festival alongside some of the biggest names in music including Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry. UK rockers Pale Waves drop their latest single and video “Glasgow” – a breakup anthem that sees out lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie fleeing Glasgow after being jilted at the altar. I definitely dig the hint of 1980s pop/rock. Baron-Gracie says the new track is her favorite on their upcoming album, Smitten. “It somehow breaks my heart but also makes me feel so euphoric at the same time.”
