FX’s English Teacher stars Brian Jordan Alvarez (who also created the series) as “Evan Marquez,” a gay high school teacher in Austin, Texas, who often finds himself at the intersection of the personal, professional and political aspects of working at a high school. He also runs into some trouble when he gets called into the principal’s office after a student sees Evan give his ex-boyfriend a kiss. New episodes on FX on Mondays, then streaming on Hulu.
