Happy Valentine’s Day! Some news items I thought worth your time:
• Queerty: These gay couples (and singles!) of all ages are celebrating this Valentine’s Day by sharing their V-Day pics.
• Outsports: U.S. speedskater Conor McDermott-Mostowy made history this week, becoming the first out gay male Olympic speedskater as he competed in the men’s 1,000 meters. While he didn’t make the podium, he did land in the top ten for his event.
• The Advocate: Fighting against an illness with no treatment and institutional racism, Black queer communities had to look inward for support during the early days of the AIDS crisis. #BlackHistoryMonth
• X: I’ve never watched TLC’s reality series My Strangest Addiction, but this clip clearly qualifies.

• LV Review-Journal: The parents of a 14-year-old student here in Las Vegas filed a lawsuit accusing a private school of failing to protect their son from years of documented bullying that culminated in a brutal sexual assault. One 15-year-old has been indicted by a grand jury after authorities discovered a video of the assault in his Snapchat gallery.
• Attitude Magazine: Stripped Down (below), a bold new reality docu-series arriving March 3, 2026, on OUTflix takes viewers behind the scenes of Florida’s gay nightlife in Wilton Manors. You can sign up for a 7-day free trial here.
