Donald Trump is still gnashing his teeth about last week’s jobs report. In this morning’s spittle-tinged rage he declared the employment numbers were “rigged” to make Republicans look “less stellar!!!”
Please note the word “rigged” is in ALL CAPS and “success” is capitalized for even more exaggeration.
From his failing Truth Social platform:
“Last weeks Job’s Report was RIGGED, just like the numbers prior to the Presidential Election were Rigged. That’s why, in both cases, there was massive, record setting revisions, in favor of the Radical Left Democrats.
“Those big adjustments were made to cover up, and level out, the FAKE political numbers that were CONCOCTED in order to make a great Republican Success look less stellar!!! I will pick an exceptional replacement. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAGA!”
Trump engaged in more magical thinking over the weekend, telling reporters how his administration has managed to slash drug prices in the U.S. by more than 1000 percent.
“We’ve cut drug prices by 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 percent. I don’t mean 50 percent. I mean 1400, 1500 percent,” Trump told the press.
Of course, that would mean all drugs are free and people actually get paid to receive them. But the hand-picked gaggle of journalists knew not to point that out.
