With just hours before a federal government shutdown, Donald Trump shared a racist AI-generated video which appears to depict House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero and a mustache and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer speaking via an AI-generated voice.
In the clip shared to Trump’s X and Truth Social accounts, Schumer is depicted as arguing for undocumented immigrants to get “free healthcare” because minority voters hate Democrats and they could use the votes in the next election.
With mariachi music in the background, the artificial Schumer voice says, “Look guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke, trans bullshit. Not even black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us.”

For the record: Republicans have crafted their own short-term measure to fund the government through November 21.
But Democrats want to reverse the Medicaid cuts in Donald Trump’s mega-bill passed this summer and extend tax credits that make health insurance premiums more affordable for millions of people.
Republicans call the Democratic proposal a nonstarter.
House Republicans brought the House into session for a total of 2 minutes today then adjourned as Democrats tried to bring up legislation to keep government open. The GOP will own this shutdown.
