• The Advocate: Responding to a question by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend, Brian Glenn, who said many people were “threatened” by the LGBTQ Pride flag (???), Donald Trump said he would have “no problem” with removing the inclusive banner from Washington, D.C. streets.
• LGBTQ Nation: A federal appeals court has ruled that disgraced, gay former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) cannot bring a copyright lawsuit against late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel after Kimmel purchased videos from Santos on the platform Cameo for use on a comedic segment entitled, “Will Santos Say It?”

• Navy Times: The Pentagon has announced that troops who require ‘medical shaving waivers’ for longer than a year will face involuntary separation. Note – about 60% of Black men are diagnosed with a condition that leads to painful ingrown hair from frequent shaving.
• OUT: Grammy Award winner Lil Nas X has reportedly checked into an undisclosed inpatient rehabilitation facility following his arrest last month.
The rapper’s lawyer shared the update during a court hearing on Monday.

• WRTV: Indiana Gov. Mike Braun (R) has announced discussions about calling a special legislative session to redraw the state’s voting map are progressing. Republicans currently hold 7 of the state’s 9 House seats.
• The Advocate: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has quietly withdrawn a lawsuit against a doctor accused of providing gender-affirming care.
• Truth Social: Trump announced today that Republicans will hold a “Midterm Convention” in advance of the 2026 mid-term elections. Note – the party of a current president has historically lost Congressional seats in the vast majority of midterms since the end of World War II, averaging a loss of 26 to 28 seats in the House.
