Earlier today, Donald Trump posted two laughably retouched photos of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
The first he claimed was taken during “Hussein Obama’s” presidency, and the second was alleged to be a current photo.

People were quick to notice the obvious retouching of the photos, especially since the clouds in the sky and ducks in the water were in the exact same positions.
Were we to believe the clouds didn’t move in over 10 years?
It turns out both images were retouched versions of a photo taken during former President George W. Bush’s tenure in the White House.

Earlier this week, Trump announced the reflecting pool renovations adding he was having the pool’s granite surface covered with an “industrial grade swimming pool topping” colored “American flag blue.”
He went on to say the project would take him “two weeks” – his favorite time frame. My question is: if it will only take “two weeks,” why did he wait 14 months to address the condition of the reflecting pool?
The Donald also promised the renovated pool would last “for 40 or 50 years,” adding, “There’ll be no leaks; there’ll be no anything.”
Just my own experience as a pool owner, but most swimming pools need to be resurfaced every 10-12 years. But, whatever…

The first image is from 2004 under Bush. The second image is an AI generated version of the same image from Bush.
