Here’s the Twitter feud we’ve all been waiting for: Drag superstar Trixie Mattel versus shadow drag something-or-other Rep. George Santos (R-NY).
It began with truth-challenged Santos whining about late-night comics impersonating him as his serial liar antics are being poked and prodded for levity.
Santos specifically called out Jon Lovitz for his satirical take on the congressman writing on Twitter, “Jon Lovitz is supposed to be one of the greatest comedians of all time and that was embarrassing— for him not me! These comedians need to step their game up.”
That’s when the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3 champ threw shade from the sidelines tweeting, “Maybe the source material was weak.”
Santos clapped back writing, “Clearly you know all about weak acting skills.” But Trixie threw a fast ball referencing Santos’ lame defense of his drag past: “I am not an actor! I was young and I had fun at a festival!”
Lovitz also responded to Santos on Twitter writing, “You’re right! My pathological liar character can’t hold a candle to you!”

I have now been enshrined in late night TV history with all these impersonations, but they are all TERRIBLE so far. Jon Lovitz is supposed to be one of the greatest comedians of all time and that was embarrassing— for him not me! These comedians need to step their game up.

Loved your “Jew-ish”
joke. One of my favorites I do all the time! https://t.co/RS3rBb6AL9— Jon Lovitz (@realjonlovitz) January 24, 2023
