• New York Times: Corporate sponsors are retreating from New York Pride. Some fear that the Trump administration could punish corporations it viewed as supporting a celebration of LGBTQ rights. • Broadway Cares: Click your heels (or heels off) as 200 of NYC’s most dazzling dancers erupt into full-out, larger-than-life production numbers at two Wizard of Oz-inspired performances at this year’s “Broadway Bares” event in New York City on June 22. • HuffPost: Target scaled back its DEI initiatives in January after they came under attack by conservative activists and the White House. As a result, sales at Target fell more than expected in the first quarter, and the retailer warns they will slip for all of 2025. • Reuters: The U.S. Army plans to alter the records of transgender soldiers to show only their sex at birth, according to internal guidance seen by Reuters that details a series of steps it will take as it pushes them out of the service.

• Axios: In a shocking moment during Donald Trump’s meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa today, Trump requested that propaganda videos be played purporting to show “evidence” of violence against white people in South Africa. While Trump watched the video, Ramaphosa looked away, appearing uncomfortable. • Erin In The Morning: A Montana judge has temporarily blocked enforcement of HB 121, which would ban trans and intersex people from using gender-separated public facilities, such as bathrooms or changing rooms, that differ from their sex assigned at birth.
1. A Montana judge has issued a PI against the bathroom ban in the state. This means it should be blocked for a long time while the hearing goes on.
