Matt Zarley sings “I Look To You”Throwing it back to out singer/songwriter Matt Zarley’s oh-so-moving take on “I Look To You,” the final hit single from Whitney Houston.
At the end of Houston’s career, her incredible gifts were somewhat diminished through neglect or abuse. I loved the song when she released it, but I clearly recall an appearance on a major morning TV show where the cameras had to pan far out to hide that she was having to lip sync at least part of the song.
In his tribute cover, Zarley’s voice soars as the song seems to finally find it’s true destiny.
