Ever the spotlight-loving showman, Donald Trump was reportedly making plans to sweep into Washington, D.C., to give an “indication” of standing as a candidate for Speaker of the House before dramatically gifting his endorsement for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). The Messenger reports that Trump asked those in the know to keep quiet about the plan. But GOP Texas congressman Troy Nehls (photo) apparently missed that memo.
