Everyone in the world (or at least those that subscribe to SHOWTIME) gets to take in the full experience of Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour tonight.
Hard to believe it’s been 24 years since the dark, off-beat series Twin Peaks debuted. It’s interesting how at the time Twin Peaks was on the cutting edge of “slightly off” television dramas.
Now we have the super-extreme and violent things like American Horror Story. Twin Peaks seems tame compared to that fare.
But I like when shows make you lean in and pay attention. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing if David Lynch can “catch lightning in a bottle” again with this one.
The critically-acclaimed, ground breaking television phenomenon TWIN PEAKS returns as a limited series to SHOWTIME in 2017.
Currently in production, TWIN PEAKS is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by David Lynch.
While the full mystery awaits, fans can expect many familiar faces, including Golden Globe® winner and Emmy® Award nominee Kyle MacLachlan, who reprises his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper.
Looks like there’s a new ‘Gigolo’ in town this season.
The new season debuts August 30th at 11pmEST/PST.
I’m still betting on Steven Gantt to be interesting guy on screen…
Steven Gantt, star of SHOWTIME hit TV show “Gigolos” – which takes place here in Las Vegas – recently gave a radio interview to 93.3 FLZ in Tampa, FL.
We’ve had Steven on The Candi & Randy Show a few times and he’s always got something interesting to say. And an interesting way to say it.
Dori Berinstein’s fab documentary on the life and career of Carol Channing is airing tonight on SHOWTIME at 6:30EST.
From the SHOWTIME website:”This biographical documentary takes a star-struck look at the life and career of show business legend Carol Channing, whose glittering career includes three Tony® Awards, Golden Globe® and Oscar® nominations, and originating iconic roles in the stage versions of “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and “Hello, Dolly!”
We had a great time with Steven Gantt of Showtime’s GIGOLOS Sunday night on The Candi & Randy Show. And a huge number of listeners tuned in, which is always cool.
In case you missed the radio show, here it is. Just hit the play button above.
And thanks to Steven for being on the show. Always cool to learn how TV is made and hearing about your new projects. Plus you’re very funny – even when you make fun of me using words like “appropos.”
Much fun. Want to guess the intro music? Take a listen.
Join Candi & I as we welcome Steven Gantt, one of the stars of the Showtime hit show Gigolos this Sunday night, April 8 at 11pmEST/8pmPST.

Gigolos follows five real guys earning their living as high-end male escorts in Las Vegas. As one of the stars of the show, Steven finds himself in some unexpected positions as he balances relationships, friendships and family with the demands of his all-female clientele.
Upon graduation from high school, Steven moved to Chicago where he opened his own escort agency. It was a strategic attempt to bring a sense of pride to an industry that is often frowned upon by society. In addition he has worked as a bartender, a chef, a model and an offshore oil rigger.
As father to a son who is the center of his life, Steven is a dedicated, loving father who fully supports his son.
Join Candi, Randy and Steven as they discuss living life in front of the cameras; his plans to launch a men’s clothing line and cologne named after his son; giving back to the community as a supporter of “Children of the Night” which rescues children from the ravages of prostitution; plus topics from his blog including dressing with pride, solutions to housing & unemployment issues, and being kind enough to say “thank you” to someone who may just need it.
