• The Hollywood Reporter: Equalpride — parent company of LGBTQ media outlets like OUT, The Advocate, Pride.com, Out Traveler, Health PLUS Wellness and Advocate Originals — has laid off numerous staffers amid cancellations of major advertising campaigns.

• Channel5YouTube: Actor Shia LaBeouf talks about his Mardi Gras arrest and what it had to do with gay people: “Big gay people are scary to me.” What I’m curious about is — after working around queer people in the entertainment industry for years, Shia says gays touching his legs triggered him into a rampage…?

• The Advocate: Scouting America has pushed back on claims by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that the organization would limit membership based solely on sex assigned at birth, insisting that transgender youth remain welcome in its programs.

• What To Watch: The excellent documentary Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion, all about the life and career of legendary designer Bob Mackie, is now available on HBO Max. I highly recommend.

• Democracy Docket: Virginia voters will head to the polls starting Friday to weigh in on a plan to redraw the state’s congressional map in response to GOP gerrymanders in other states after a court ruled that election preparations can move forward.

• New York Times: The State Department is urging Americans to depart immediately from 14 Middle East countries — including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, LebanonQatar and the United Arab Emirates — because of “serious safety risks.”

• Queerty: Out recording artist Nieri dropped his new album Architecture and with it the video to the dance single “Sober,” which plays in reverse, tracing a wild night backward from the morning after to the beginning.

Shia LeBeouf & Maddie Ziegler Guest In New Sia Music Video – “Elastic Heart”

This is the follow up to 4-time Grammy nominated hit “Chandelier,” on iTunes.

At first glance, I shied away (see what I did there?) from the video when I saw it featured Shia LeBeouf, as I’ve had enough of his “hot cup of crazy.”

But watching the video, the musical and choreographic textures were really intriguing. The rhythms, dance vocabulary… Very watchable. And, to be honest, the two sexy bodies weren’t hard to look at either.

Video: “Shia LaBeouf” Live By Rob Cantor

I’ve been seeing posts about this video for over a week, but every time I went to watch, the server would stall.

1.8 million views later, I see what the chatter was about. I think this is pretty fab.

Back in 2012, singer-songwriter Rob Cantor wrote a song called “Shia LaBeouf” about the titular character as a cannibal, with lines like, “Hollywood superstar… living in the woods/killing for sport.” In the new video, the West Los Angeles Children’s Choir and Gay Men’s Chorus team for a rousing interpretation of the song, complete with very literal onstage interpretations of the lyrics.

And even better, check the cameo at the very end of the clip.

Shia LaBeouf checks into rehab

Following what was clearly not his best weekend, Shia LaBeouf has apparently checked into rehab in Los Angeles, according to X17.

LaBeouf made headlines this past weekend for his disorderly conduct at a performance of Cabaret on Broadway.

Labeouf was acting erratically and being abusive to other audience members until he was forcibly removed by the police and arrested.

Now it appears he’s making moves to address some issues:

X17online can report, exclusively, that the troubled actor is getting help at a celebrity-frequented treatment facility in Hollywood.

We followed the actor from his Hollywood Hills home, just an hour ago, to a private facility where other stars have sought treatment — driven by someone believed to be from the rehab facility. When the car arrived at the gated drive to the center, a nurse and security guard were there to great Shia. In fact, earlier in the day when we spotted Shia in his driveway, we noticed his was carrying the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Blue Book.

Our photographer tells us: “Shia was nervous; he didn’t look good all morning. He was looking down and wasn’t even talking to his driver. It looked like he didn’t want to do it, but he knew he had to.”

Actor Shia LaBeouf removed from audience at Broadway’s CABARET

Actor Shia LaBeouf was not only escorted out of a performance of Cabaret on Broadway tonight in handcuffs. And according to sources, it got stranger and stranger. 

Apparently, due to spitting on police officers he had to be restrained in a face mask.

The 28-year-old actor was escorted out of the performance in handcuffs during intermission after he was “slapping random people on the behind and on the back of the head. He was also smoking.”

When taken to the Midtown North precinct, who got a little rowdy with the cops who were trying to take of his handcuffs. He told them, “F–k you. I’ll f–k you up,” a source told Page Six.

The cops decided not to take the handcuffs off after he said that, so he started spitting at the officers, who then put him in a face mask.

Shia LaBeouf nude in European music video/film

Shia LaBeouf, the 26-year-old Transformers star, is turning heads thanks to a new music video for Icelandic band Sigur Rós in which LaBeouf appears completely nude.

In the sexually charged video for the song “Fjögur Píanó,” LaBeouf lets it all hang out while frolicking about with a beautiful (and also often nude) blonde woman.

They gyrate, fight, dance, paint each other, smash mirrors, examine dead butterflies, eat lollipops and lots of other things.

Shia LaBeouf gets into some trouble in Vancouver

From TMZ: Last week, while in Vancouver shooting “The Company You Keep,” the 25-year-old actor got into an altercation inside a bar and proceeded to take it outside, where he was given a beatdown.

Whatever started the fight inside of Cinema Public House is unclear, but the rumble spilled out onto the sidewalk and culminated in a shirtless man pummeling the “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” star as he was splayed out on the sidewalk — a move TMZ caught on video.

Moments after the attack, Shia tries to chase after the guy — but someone who appears to be his friend holds him back, telling him, “You gotta lay low right now!”

A rep for Cinema Public House tells TMZ, no one on staff noticed the brawl outside — but the rep confirms … Shia has been a regular at the place since he’s been in town to shoot “The Company You Keep.”
