Scott Lively: Gay Marriage Opponents Must Take Pitchforks & Torches To The Streets

Virulently anti-gay Scott Lively gives you dramatic flair today in an essay for World Net Daily over the coming of gay marriage:

“The natural family is the ecosystem of humanity! It must be preserved at all costs. How? By a populist uprising! The elites need to see the angry mob – liberals and conservatives together – surging through the streets, pitchforks and torches held aloft, ready to tear down Frankenstein’s castle with their bare hands if need be.

“For Christians it’s Jesus and the moneychangers time! Making a whip of cords like He did with His own hands, and letting these arrogant puppet-masters know we mean to use it (metaphorically speaking).

“The bottom line is this: The elitists always believe they’re smarter, wiser and better than you. They play the game of democracy to keep the peace, but they always follow their own agenda to the fullest extent the people will allow by their complacency. The only way to deter the elites is with the threat of the mob.

“They need to see the pitchforks and torches to know they’ve gone too far and need to back down.”

SRSLY. Pitchforks and torches in the streets. Arrogant puppet-masters.

Again and again I write: no one else’s families are threatened by gay and lesbian couples marrying.

No one.

The hysteria grows as the anti-gay mob sees a future where LGBT folks have the same rights as them.

And they just. Can’t. Stand. It.

Hate-monger Scott Lively: Gays Are Out To Kill Me

I wrote recently about the Human Rights Campaign’s new program to more fully expose those who work tirelessly to undercut LGBT people around the world. The program is called “The Export of Hate.”

The program lists several virulently anti-gay individuals who campaign not only against our rights, but our very existence. Appropriately, Scott Lively is number one on the list.

Lively, currently on trial for crimes against humanity, is widely credited with advocating for anti-gay laws in Uganda which could send gays and lesbians to prison for life, among many other atrocities.

Well, Lively is not happy being #1 on the Export of Hate list. And as such, he has penned an essay condemning what he calls a “hit list.”

Not every “gay” activist is physically violent, thankfully. Most limit their “human rights advocacy” to harassment, intimidation and slander. But make no mistake, if they thought they could get away will killing every person on the HRC and SPLC hit lists, they would do it. They smolder with malicious hatred against anyone who stands in their way.

So far its been the fear of harm they might do to their whitewashed, house-of-cards, Madison Avenue-created benign public image that stays their hands short of murder… except for a few random nut-jobs like Corkins.

[snip]

I believe they are now deliberately trying to incite murder against me and every other person on their enemies list. That might have sounded a bit paranoid in years past, but post-Corkins it is just cold hard fact that some “gay” activists are incited to murder by inflammatory leftist rhetoric. The HRC knows that, and yet their rhetoric in this Exporting Hate publication is MORE inflammatory than the SPLC’s rhetoric the drove Corkins over the edge!

I am demanding a retraction and public apology from both HRC and SPLC. To both of them I insist: STOP INCITING HATE BEFORE YOU GET PEOPLE KILLED!!!!!

In addition to his contributions to the Uganda “Kill The Gays” bill, he toured 50 cities in Russia where he is accused of recommending a ban on ‘gay propaganda’.

The guilty dog barks the loudest…

Christian rock star Vicky Beeching gives anti-gay Scott Lively a beat down in first interview since coming out

Christian rock singer Vicky Beeching

Christian rock star Vicky Beeching schools the virulently anti-gay Scott Lively on the realities of people being both Christian and gay.

Scott Lively is famous for many things “anti-gay,” among which IS his participation in pushing the “Kill The Gays” bill in Uganda – which gets brought up here and he again denies. Lively is currently on trial for crimes against humanity for his part in the Uganda law.

Props to Vicky for handling herself so well.

Scott Lively

Scott Lively is super-mad that HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” told the truth about him

Crimes against humanity defendant and current (don’t laugh) Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Scott Lively is waaay upset that John Oliver quoted Mr. Lively (with video, no less) on HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” this past Sunday.

As many folks know, Mr. Lively has spent considerable time and energy traveling the world spreading anti-gay propaganda and supporting laws like the recently passed “Kill The Gays” law in Uganda.  He, of course, denies that he’s anything but loving and compassionate.

You know, Scotty, the problem with technology is what you say is now with us forever. All your anti-gay propaganda captured in “lively” color.

But Mr. Lively has now taken to his personal hate site to rail against Oliver’s extensive truth-telling.

“Friends, On Sunday night I was attacked on HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ a supposed comedy/news show in the mold of The Daily Show.

The host is a Brit named John Oliver.

I find it funny that lefties like John Oliver who pose as humanitarians are the masters at dehumanizing other people through ridicule and never give the subjects of their smears a fair chance to respond.

I’m calling out John Oliver as a liar and a fraud who couldn’t go ten minutes with me in an unscripted, unedited debate. Without his teleprompter and his cheap-shot, out-of-context video clips he would be exposed as just another left-wing loony.

Oliver is lying through selective editing re Rwanda and several other points. His show was one continuous stream of malicious LGBT propaganda in the guise of comedy.

Yes, it will likely negatively affect the voters, as it was intended to do. It’s one more example of the ‘politics of personal destruction’ that Saul Alinsky taught the ‘progressives,’ including journalists, to practice.”

Scott Lively denies calling President Obama anti-Christ, gets busted for lying

Scott Lively, anti-gay pastor and Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate, denies he called President Obama the Anti-Christ, then admits it Michelangelo Signorile  plays a recording of him saying just that.

From Right Wing Watch:

Last year, Lively told Rick Wiles of TruNews that the Antichrist “is heading the largest superpower of the world today,” obviously referring to Obama, who he predicted would eliminate “the debts of the world,” bring about “a peace treaty between the Palestinians and the Israelis” and establish “secular humanism” as a global religion.

More Scott Lively on Uganda: Gays should get reparative therapy or go to jail

In an interview with SiriusXM host Michelangelo Signorile, anti-gay crusader Scott Lively explains that his goal in advising Uganda on their recent Anti-Homosexuality Act was to have the government offer reparative or “ex-gay” therapy instead of punitive sanctions.

When asked what should happen if gays and lesbians in Uganda didn’t WANT such therapy (which has been shown to be very damaging to patients to the point of becoming torture), Lively says those people would have to “take whatever the other alternative is, which was probably going to jail.”

Anti-gay Scott Lively: President Obama is a homosexualist

Britain’s Channel 4 interviewed rabidly anti-gay Scott Lively of Massachussetts, who aided Uganda in developing it’s new law that targets the LGBT community with some of the harshest penalties in the world for being gay.

During the interview, Lively repeating attacked the reporter for trying to “inflame the far left.” And then, throwing out some red meat to inflame the far right,  alluded that President Obama is, in his opinion, gay:

When I went on to point out that the President Obama is “wholeheartedly” against this legislation, Dr Lively chuckled and said: “I think Obama may as well be a homosexual himself. He is certainly a radical homosexualist – meaning a person, whether they are homosexual or not, meaning a person who is 100 per cent invested in the homosexual agenda.”

Rather perplexed by his unexpected comment, I said; “So you think Obama is a homosexual?” He replied: “I think he may be.”

You can read more of the exchange here. And watch the report from Channel 4 below:

Message to anti-gay Brian Brown: Stop harming LGBT Russians

Today the Human Rights Campaign released a new web video highlighting the role that American extremists have played in the passage of Russia’s draconian anti-LGBT laws.

The video details how more than a dozen Americans, including NOM President Brian Brown have traveled to Russia in the last year to meet with policy makers and lobby for these laws.

The consequences of these laws have been immediate and severe. In less than a year since the signing of the propaganda ban we have seen activists arrested and beaten in the streets and a surge in asylum requests from LGBT Russians trying to leave the country.

This is what Brian Brown and the other Americans have been lobbying for and what they’d like to see implemented here in the US as well.

Scott Lively on Uganda: The anti-gay laws aren’t all that bad

Anti-gay activist Scott Lively

Anti-gay Scott Lively writing on his website today:

“I agree that the Ugandan law is overly harsh on its face, but this is typical of African criminal law across the continent. Poor countries with limited criminal justice systems tend to rely on the harshness of the letter of the law to be a deterrent to criminals.

“In practice, the sentencing is usually pretty lenient. Kenya, for example, has the death penalty for burglary, but burglars are definitely not being executed there.

“I’ve explained this phenomenon to over two dozen journalists at top media outlets that have interviewed me over the past couple of years, but none have included this perspective in their stories. I guess it would undermine their efforts to bolster the ‘gay’ cause.”

Lively is currently being sued for crimes against humanity by Ugandan activists who say his campaigns have helped to lead the African country to extreme and harsh laws against LGBT individuals.
