Rumors Fly Sarah Huckabee Sanders Planning Early Departure From White House

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders

According to CBS News, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and deputy press secretary Raj Shah could be planning their departures from the Trump administration in the coming weeks.

Press secretary Sarah Sanders and principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah are both heading for the exits, according to sources inside the White House and close to the administration. Sanders, who has become a confidante of President Trump since the departure of former communications director Hope Hicks, has told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year.

Shah is also considering his exit, but he has not yet settled on an exact date. Neither Sanders nor Shah responded to repeated requests for comment before this story was published. When reached Wednesday evening, both declined to comment on the record, and Sanders tweeted that she is “honored to work for @POTUS.”

Sanders took to Twitter last night to address the issue without denying an impending exit.

As has been noted by several outlets, the turnover for the Trump White House has been unusually high for so early in an administration, particularly in the communications shop.

Former communications director Hope Hicks, a close confidante of Trump, left her post earlier this year.

White House Press Secretary Caught Trying To Fudge “War Room” Pic

White House Press Secretary tweeted out the above message and photo in an attempt to show Donald Trump in a strong, military moment.

Unfortunately, her tweet was misleading because Vice President Mike Pence (pictured on Trump’s right in the photo) was in Peru at the time of the Syria bombings.

What she really wanted was a “bin Laden war room pic,” but the reality is there isn’t one.

So she tried to fudge it hoping folks wouldn’t notice.

Folks noticed…

Trump Furious At WH Spokesperson For Giving Stormy Daniels Story “Steroids”

According to CNN sources, Donald Trump was apparently furious at White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders for addressing a question about porn star Stormy Daniels at a White House press briefing.

CNN’s John Acosta shared with his colleagues: “A source close to White House says Trump is upset with @PressSec Sarah Sanders over her handling of Stormy Daniels questions yesterday. “POTUS is very unhappy,” the source said. “Sarah gave the Stormy Daniels storyline steroids yesterday,” the source added.

During Wednesday’s press briefing, Sanders was asked by reporter Jeff Zeleny if Trump approved the payment made in October 2016 by his lawyer Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels 11 days before the election.

Sanders answered, “This case has already been won in arbitration, and anything beyond that, I would refer you to the president’s outside counsel.”

Another reporter followed up with, “You said that there’s arbitration that’s already been won — by whom and when?”

“By the president’s personal attorneys, and for details on that I’d refer you to them. I can share that the arbitration was won in the president’s favor,” Sanders replied.

As many news outlets quickly pointed out, by acknowledging Trump winning some arbitration against Daniels, we have tacit confirmation that there’s some sort of agreement between Daniels and Trump.

If there were no agreement, there wouldn’t be anything to arbitrate.

Oops.

White House Lies: “The President Hasn’t Said That Russia Didn’t Meddle”

Proving that the White House staff lives in a bizarro/other dimension where up is down and down is up, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders denied that Donald Trump ever said Russia didn’t meddle in the 2016 presidential election.

Sanders told reporters at today’s press briefing:

“One of the places where you guys seem to get very confused––and it seems to happen regularly––the President hasn’t said that Russian didn’t meddle. What he’s saying is it didn’t have an impact and it certainly wasn’t with help from the Trump campaign. It’s also very clear that Russia meddled in the election. It’s also very clear it didn’t have an impact on the election, and it’s also very clear the Trump campaign didn’t collude with the Russians in any way.”

Watch Ms. Sanders literally lie through her teeth below.

White House: It’s “Highly Inappropriate” To Question Chief Of Staff Kelly Even Though He Was Wrong

Yesterday, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly asserted that Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) boasted about raising money during an FBI dedication ceremony in 2015.

Wilson denied Kelly’s claim saying she wasn’t even in Congress when the funds to build the new FBI building in question were appropriated.

Well, of course, someone was going to find that footage of Wilson’s speech. And nowhere does she take credit for raising the funds to build the new FBI building. She does take credit for having the building named after two FBI agents.

And, she spends a big part of her speech praising the FBI and our law enforcement officials.

I can’t embed the video, but you can see it over on South Florida’s Sun-Sentinel website here.

At the White House press briefing today, members of the press asked press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders about the video which showed Kelly was inaccurate with his portrayal of Wilson’s speech.

Sanders told reporters that it is “highly inappropriate” to “go after” a four-star Marine general.

Since Ms. Sanders thinks it’s “highly inappropriate” to question or “go after” a military general, I wonder what she thinks of her boss, Donald Trump, “going after” these generals.

White House Press Corp Slaps Back After WH Spokesperson Calls Reporter “Outrageous”

Sarah Huckabee Sanders

After White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders accused the media of nitpicking small missteps by the White House without holding themselves to the same standard, The Sentinel‘s Brian Karem could no longer hold in what many in the press corp have been thinking.

“You are inflaming everyone right here right now with those words. This administration has done that as well….Any one of us are replaceable, if we don’t get it right, the audience has the opportunity to turn the channel or not read us. You have been elected to serve for four years at least, there is no option other than that,” said Karem.

“We are here to ask you questions, you are here to provide answers. And what you just did is inflammatory to people all over the country who look at it and say, ‘See, once again, the president is right and everybody else is just fake media.’ Everybody in this room is only trying to do their job.”

I personally find Sanders the definition of deplorable. Look at her face above. So very condescending.
