• Broadway World: Rosie O’Donnell will join the acclaimed Broadway revival of The Rocky Horror Show this fall in the role of ‘The Narrator’ for a limited two-week run (October 6 through October 18) while current ‘Narrator’ Rachel Dratch takes a short leave from the production.

• JoeMyGod: The city council of Southlake, Texas, has denied a permit for a community Pride festival planned at an Episcopal church. Council members did not discuss the event or ask city staff or organizers any questions before unanimously rejecting a proposal to issue the permit for the Oct. 3 party.
