Some news items you might have missed: • OUT: Adult entertainment giant Pornhub held its third annual awards last night. The winners are decided by real data (based on what users searched, viewed, and sought after the most this year) from PornHub.com, which according to its website brings in over 140 million daily visitors and over 55 billion searches. Among the winners was Austin Wolf (above) who scored as ‘Top Daddy Performer’ of the year. • Boy Culture: Patti LaBelle’s gay Trumper nephew made headlines when he became involved in a deeply weird online mystery, in which he was apparently tweeting on behalf of a white Republican. Miss Patti had some words with her nephew. • LGBTQ Nation: Federal judge slaps down an Ohio law that bans transgender people from correcting birth certificates. Score one for the good guys! • Instinct Magazine: Josh Brolin is breaking the internet with his birthday suit photo. • TMZ: Atlantic City is auctioning off the opportunity of demolishing the long-closed, decaying Trump Casino. • The Advocate: Legendary gay actor Sir Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, X-Men movies) is among the latest to get the new vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. The 81-year-old star said he’s feeling “euphoric” after getting his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. “I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.”

Some news items you might have missed: • NewNowNext: Alpine ski legend Hig Roberts (above) has come out as gay. “Not being able to be who I am and not be able to be openly gay as a professional athlete was truly hindering my performance,” the 29-year-old told The NY Times. • Instinct Magazine: The UK is loosening its restrictions for gay and bisexual men to donate blood – a bit. The National Health Service of the United Kingdom announced men who are sexually active in a relationship with a single male partner for the prior three months can now be considered for donation. • Pink News: Disgraced former influencer Milo Yiannopoulos has vowed to ‘burn the Republican Party to the ground’ after losing everything for ‘Daddy’ Trump. The gay ‘Straight Pride’ figurehead has vented about his life being “completely destroyed”, as Republicans struggle to accept the defeat of Donald Trump.

• Eonline: A new Guardians of the Galaxy comic story depicts the superhero Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt in the Marvel movies, in a polyamorous, bisexual relationship. It’s unclear whether the character’s sexuality will be addressed in any Marvel movies, including the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Thor: Love and Thunder. • Vice: Pornhub is removing all videos on its site that weren’t uploaded by official content partners or members of its model program. Before the content purge on Sunday evening, the website hosted around 13.5 million videos, a large number of them from unverified accounts. On Monday morning as of 9 a.m., that number had dropped to only 4.7 million videos. • Boy Culture: Hillary Clinton was feeling good after voting as an elector in New York state for Joe Biden.

Pornhub Shares The Top Searches By State During Election Week

Pornhub Insights shares the top gay porn searches broken down by state, age, and more.

While some folks around the country are a bit done with the adding of these or those numbers amid the aftermath of the presidential election, the statisticians at Pornhub decided to crunch some figures themselves. While they weren’t able to predict who each state voted for, they were able to ascertain what each state was searching for on the adult website during election week! “The top relative search is the term that was more often searched in each state when compared to all other states,” writes the streaming platform on its blog. “It’s a snap-shot of what was truly in the hearts and on the minds of everyday Americans while they waited to find out who their next president will be.” For some states, size clearly matters – Pennsylvania (‘fat a**’), West Virginia (‘chubby’), and Alabama (‘big booty’). Maturity was a factor for viewers in Ohio (‘cougar’), South Carolina (‘grandma’), and Tennessee (‘granny’). Local flavors were the thing in some states like Texas (‘sexmex’) and Louisiana (‘popeyes’). There were some random searches like Iowans expressed an interest in ‘yoga pants,’ Georgia had ‘tickling’ on its mind, and Connecticut was up for ‘wedgie’ action. I’m not gonna ask about Oregon’s fascination with ‘succubus.’ A few states were on the (excuse me) less-creative side with terms like Florida (‘Trump’), Delaware (‘Election’), Nevada (‘Vegas’), Utah (‘Mormon’), and the District of Colombia (‘Vote’). And in the “If you can’t spell it you shouldn’t be watching it” category, Mississippi wins with (cue the sad trombone sound) ‘pron.’ Check out the full graphic via Pornhub below.

Politician Runs Campaign Ads On Pornhub “You Have To Be Where The Voters Are”

I think American politics could use a little bit of this politician’s lighthearted sense of humor.

A former Olympic shot-putter-turned-politician in Denmark has placed campaign ads on porn website PornHub in advance of the general election.

Joachim B Olsen, who scored a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, was elected to the Danish parliament at the 2011 election, representing the Liberal Alliance in the Greater Copenhagen constituency.

With this year’s general elections looming on the horizon (June 5), Olsen made the unusual move of buying campaign ads on Pornhub which read, “When you’re done wanking, vote for Jokke.”

Jokke is the 41-year-old’s nickname.

When a Twitter user argued Olsen was receiving more attention than his opponent, Rasmus Paludan, the founder and leader of the anti-immigrant party Hard Line, Olsen tweeted: “There is no limit to how far I will go for the nation. If it takes an ad on pornhub to keep Rasmus Paludan out of the foreign media, I’ll take one for the team.”

In an interview, Olsen told the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, “You have to be where the voters are.”

He also admitted his campaign is 95% serious, but makes a point to leave room for a little “fun.”

“I hope people get a good laugh,” he said. “I have received a very positive response to it. I don’t know if there are votes in it.”

And yes, he knows the unconventional campaign ad buy might upset some conservative folks.

“I am well aware that some people are outraged,” he offered. “One cannot say anything today without people being outraged. Those who know me as a politician, they know I’m a serious politician. But I also have humour, and I think this is fun.”
