Rep. Jason Chaffetz Caught Attempting To Present False Information At Planned Parenthood Hearing

Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz tried to get away with false information during Congressional hearings regarding Planned Parenthood.

He presented a chart he had made based on what he SAID was info from Planned Parenthood.

It turns out the info came from Americans United for Life, an anti-abortion group.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz: I pulled those numbers directly out of your corp. reports

Richards: Excuse me. My lawyers have informed me that the source of this is Americans United for Life which is an anti-abortion group so I would check your source.

How very embarrassing for Chaffetz. Caught attempting to pass off false information in full view of America.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren Reads GOP From The Floor Of US Senate

Before the failed vote to defund Planned Parenthood in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren took to the floor to read her GOP colleagues

“I come to the Senate floor today to ask my Republican colleagues a question,” she began. “Do you have any idea what year it is? Did you fall down, hit your head, and think you woke up in the 1950s? Or the 1890s? Should we call for a doctor?”

“Because I simply cannot believe that in the year 2015, the United States Senate would be spending its time trying to defund women’s healthcare centers. On second thought, maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. The Republicans have had a plan for years to strip away women’s rights to make choices over our own bodies.”

“Just to be clear,” Warren continued, “even though the abortions performed at Planned Parenthood are safe and legal, the federal government is not paying for any of them. Not — one — dime.”

The vote ended up 53-46, meaning the measure failed the get the 60 votes needed to overcome a Democratic filibuster on bringing the bill up for debate.

Todd Starnes: Americans Want Leaders With “Big Man-Parts”

Fox News’ Todd Starnes via Twitter:

“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked a vote to defund Planned Parenthood’s Killing Fields. That sort of emasculated, chicken-hearted leadership is why Donald Trump is surging in the polls. Americans want leaders with man-parts big enough to do the right thing.”

I’m sorry, but I’m just a little embarrassed for even a semi-straight guy like Starnes to write the words “man-parts.” If you’re going to go for the big dick metaphor, go for it.

And I’m guessing Starnes has some “insider” knowledge about the size of Trump’s penis?

Karen Handel resigns from Susan G. Komen over Planned Parenthood dispute

Karen Handel, vice president for public affairs at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, resigned on Tuesday following public outcry over the announcement Komen would pull funding from Planned Parenthood.

After Komen reversed its decision, The Huffington Post reported that Handel drove the decision to defund Planned Parenthood over abortion politics and crafted the strategy to clean up the public relations mess that ensued.

A Komen insider told HuffPost on Sunday that Karen Handel, Komen’s staunchly anti-abortion vice president for public policy, was the main force behind the decision to defund Planned Parenthood and the attempt to make that decision look nonpolitical.

“Karen Handel was the prime instigator of this effort, and she herself personally came up with investigation criteria,” the source, who requested anonymity for professional reasons, told HuffPost. “She said, ‘If we just say it’s about investigations, we can defund Planned Parenthood and no one can blame us for being political.'”

While serving as Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State, Karen Handel ran for governor on a platform of defunding Planned Parenthood.
