Roseanne: “I Put The ‘Q’ In Queer”

Roseanne Barr takes to her YouTube channel to come out as 'queer' - "I put the 'Q' in LGBTQ"
Roseanne Barr muses on the word ‘fag’ in her car

Roseanne Barr took to her YouTube channel to share some odd musings on the use of the word ‘fag,’ and how she herself put the ‘Q’ in LGBTQ.

The comedienne began in a pensive mood, complaining about the use of the ‘F’ word.

“Man, the word ‘fag’ is a really hateful word, isn’t it?,” begins the comedian while apparently sitting in her car. “Especially when it’s when it’s like one gay calling another gay guy that? Hoo! Have you ever been in the middle of one of them hate marriages? Hoo! It’s like, wait a minute, we’re not supposed to say that word. How come you’resaying that word? What?”

She then complains that while some members of the LGBTQ community use the word, she as a straight woman is not allowed to use the slur.

“Oh, Ijust can’t say that word,” she says. “Well, I can when I’m in the house, but I can’t say it outside the house. Okay, I get your rules.”

“But it is a hateful word and we should get rid of it,” she decides, but then clarifies, “Get rid of it being spoken.”

Ok, so folks should stop saying the word but they can write it? No. Paint it on a wall? No.

The 66-year-old then appears to take partial ownership of the slur by declaring she, herself, is ‘queer.’

“All that LGBTQ stuff, let me just be real, I put the Q in the LGBTQ,” announces the dethroned sitcom queen. “Okay, because I am queer as two motherf**kers.”

Now, we’re off in the underbrush on the way to Poughkeepsie, but we gotta see where this goes, right?

“I’m queer, I’m alien, I don’t belong here with all these people,” she adds although it appears she’s alone, but, you know. “They makes no sense. Theyare very queer.”

“That makes me queer, I guess,” she declares in summation as she starts her car. “But I did put the Q in it. Bye!”

And, exit stage right.

Trump Calls Out “Mentally Disturbed” Shooter, Fails To Mention He Revoked Gun Regulation For People With Mental Illness

In the painful aftermath of the high school gun shooting in Florida yesterday, Donald Trump took to Twitter today to shift the discussion from any meaningful gun control measures to the idea that the shooter was apparently mentally ill.

Trump wrote, “So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”

The Trumpster almost seems to be blaming the students and neighbors for not reporting the shooter.

According to CNN’s Jake Tapper, the shooter was “a client at a mental health clinic” though he had not been at the clinic in more than a year.

What Trump failed to include was that he signed a bill into law a year ago that rolled back Obama-era regulations that made it harder for those with a history of mental illness to obtain a gun.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel told reporters, “While people in this country with mental health issues are being treated they should not be able to buy, surround themselves, purchase or carry a hand gun. Those two things don’t mix.”

Sounds like a logical idea to me.

Poll: Americans Are Split On Whether Trump Is Mentally Stable Or Not

This surely isn’t how Donald Trump envisioned beginning his second year in the White House.

A new poll from ABC News/Washington Post shows substanially more Americans give President Obama the credit for the ongoing positive economic situation.

Specifically, only 38% of those polled say today’s economic conditions are a “great deal/good amount” a result of Trump’s efforts,  while 50% say Obama gets the credit.

Additionally, the country is split on whether or not Trump is mentally stable – 48% say he is, 47% say no.

And though Trump tells us all he has “the best brain,” 73% of Americans don’t think he’s a genius; a small 21% agree with the Trumpster on that one, though.

Fox News Psychotherapist: Santa Barbara shooting may have been triggered by “homosexual impulses”

I was wondering how long it would take Fox News to find a way to blame the gays for the tragic shooting in Santa Barbara Friday.

In a Fox News discussion on the shooting, television psychotherapist Dr. Robi Ludwig hypothesized that 22 year old Elliot Rodger’s shooting rampage, which ended with six dead victims, might have been triggered as an inability to cope with his “homosexual impulses.”

“When I was first listening to him, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him. And then I started to have a different idea: Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses? Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him? But this is a kid who couldn’t connect, and felt enraged, and wanted to obliterate anyone that made him feel like a nothing.”

As the world knows from seeing Rodger’s chilling video on YouTube, his issues were with his inability to interest women in dating. Nothing has come to light that would tie Rodger to homosexuality.

But you know Fox News – gotta blame it on the gays somehow.
