Mark Cuban: Trump Got Played By Russians And Doesn’t Know It

In a series of tweets yesterday, Dallas Mavericks owner/Shark Tank star Mark Cuban shared his theory of the Trump/Russia connections.
His thinking is that Trump’s greed and lack of “big picture” vision allowed Russia to manipulate the Donald.
1) Here is my take on Trump and Russia— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
2) Russians have made him a lot of money buying condos and investing in his bldgs and hosting his beauty pageant. That makes them his friends— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
3) He ignored their backgrounds. But that’s not unusual. Starbucks takes anyone’s money and so do most businesses including mine.— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
4) He spoke favorably about Putin to get his approval for Russians to get $ out of Russia and into Trump deals. He saw it as easy money— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
5) When Manafort was recommended, he didn’t vett him. He saw it as a win win. Win the election or open the door for more Russian business— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
6) As people with Russian connects came into the campaign he had no clue that those connections were possibly being influenced by Russia— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
7) His lean campaign took direction from people he trusted and he followed those directions. He had no clue where the Russians fit— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
8) when Manafort got “hot” he got rid of him but the campaign approach had been established. Bannon took it to the next level FTW— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
9) No chance this is a DJT led conspiracy. He isn’t detail oriented, organized or big picture enough to pull off any time of conspiracy— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
10) I think Putin recognized trumps greed and took advantage by back channeling coordinated misinformation in an attempt to influence voters— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
11) Trump had no idea this was happening. He was doing what he was told to do. Stick to the script and read what was written for him— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
12)Because he didn’t recognize or understand as it was happening he has no idea what to do now or how to respond. So he turns to Fox News— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
13) That’s what I think happened. Feel free to agree or disagree— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) April 1, 2017
Trump Takes The Bait – Again
Donald Trump just can’t help himself. All you have to do to get a rise out of him is lay the bait and wait.
As I reported yesterday, billionaire Mark Cuban tweeted the news that he will have a front row seat at Monday’s first presidential debate at the invite of the Clinton campaign.
Cuban, as many know, has been an outspoken critic of the Donald and his presidential campaign for months now.
In what is surely the most predictable response, Trump today tweeted in retaliation.
Of course, along the way he initially misspelled Flowers first name, so he deleted and retweeted.
But what’s most infantile is bringing up a woman from Bill Clinton’s past as some kind of touché.
It does make you wonder if the Trumpster is planning on bringing up Bill’s moral lapses of the 80s or 90s as some kind of failure on Hillary’s part.
I think that’s definitely a losing proposition for Trump, and will hand Hillary the advantage.
Having been with my husband for 22 years – legally married as long as the law would allow, 13 years now – I have respect for those who work their way through marital difficulties.
A whole lot more than someone who cuts and runs on his first two wives.
UPDATE: Ms. Flowers herself took to Twitter to say that she WILL in fact be attending the debate Monday night.
Hi Donald. You know I'm in your corner and will definitely be at the debate!…💋— Gennifer Flowers (@gennflowers) September 24, 2016
Billionaire Mark Cuban Gets Front Row Seat To 1st Presidential Debate

For months now, billionaire Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks, Shark Tank) has been an outspoken critic of Republican Donald Trump’s run for the White House.
Just last week, Cuban offered Trump $10 million if he would sit down to a four hour, one on one interview with Cuban. It goes without saying Trump didn’t respond.
But, Cuban will have a ringside seat to the first presidential debate at Hofstra University this coming Monday as news comes that the Hillary Clinton camp has given Cuban the best ticket they have so he can attend.
Cuban is famous for being down front, yelling at referees, throwing shade during his Mavericks basketball games, so expect some posturing from the Shark Tank star.
Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm @realDonaldTrump at the “Humbling at Hofstra” on Monday. It Is On !— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) September 23, 2016
If you have ever seen @mcuban courtside at a Mavs game, you know he’ll be fired up for Monday’s debate. #ImwithHer— Brian Fallon (@brianefallon) September 23, 2016

Mark Cuban: I’m A Lot Richer Than Donald Trump

Via Buzzfeed:
Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban on Wednesday questioned whether Donald Trump is actually a billionaire, saying Trump’s lack of transparency with his finances makes his net worth difficult to determine.
“I know what I’m good at, and I know what I’m not good at. I’m not so sure Donald knows what he’s not good at,” Cuban said on 77 WABC’s Bernie and Sid.
Cuban said Trump was good at putting his name on big buildings and licensing his name on hotels, but it isn’t clear how much money that has made him. “He’s good at that. Whether or not that’s made him a billionaire, I don’t know,” Cuban said. “He’s not transparent enough for us to actually know.”
Cuban said he went over Trump’s FEC filings and saw Trump was “horrible” at many aspects of business.
“I think he’s good at real estate; I do give him a lot of credit there. I think he’s good at branding real estate,” he said. “I don’t think he’s very good at brands for non–real estate products. And, to me, it’s more a reflection of desperation.
“So when you’re putting your name on steaks, and you’re putting your name on water, you’re putting your name on playing cards, you’re putting your name on all this nonsense, right? You’re not gonna make big bucks, no matter what. It’s not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It’s not like it was gonna make him $5 million.”
Later in the interview, Cuban said he has more money than Trump.
“It’s not even close, I do,” Cuban said. “Before all the Trumpians jump on me on who has more money, the reason I know is when you file your federal election campaign reports, you have to list all your cash and liquid securities and bonds. You have to list them one by one. So we know without any question that as of May 27, Donald doesn’t have more than $165 million in cash and securities and bonds.
“And trust me, I’ve got a lot of more than that in cash, securities, and bonds,” he continued. “And so you know, I’m willing to bet dimes against dollars that that’s pretty much what he’s got.”

Dallas Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban “Open” To Being Hillary’s VP Pick
Never gonna happen, but it would be an interesting twist.
From ESPN:
Though Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said he doesn’t have the time to run for President of the United States, he thinks he can find the time to serve as potential Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton’s vice president.
In an excerpt of an interview that will air on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” on NBC, Cuban was asked if he would listen if the Clinton campaign came to him offering the vice presidency.
“Absolutely,” Cuban responded while adding that he would seek to alter some of Clinton’s platform were he to become her running mate.
“If she’s willing to listen, if she’s willing to, you know, hear other sides of things, then I’m wide open to discussing it,” Cuban said.
His hypothetical interest in being the country’s next veep comes a week after Cuban told The Washington Post that a group of conservative politicians had asked him to run as a third-party candidate in this year’s presidential election.
The band of Republican politicians, according to the Post, were attempting to block presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and believed that Cuban would resonate with voters.
Like Trump, the 57-year-old Cuban is a billionaire with a reality television show.
Although he said he would “put [Trump] in his place,” Cuban told the Post that he does not anticipate running for president this year, saying “there isn’t enough time.”
Asked later by ESPN.com if he would consider running for president four years from now, Cuban replied, “No comment.”
It’s estimated that Cuban is worth in the neighborhood of $3 billion.
Mark Cuban & Ann Coulter Cast As Prez/Vice-Prez In “Sharknado 3”
Please tell me this means we get to see them eaten by sharks and Ian Ziering becomes President!
Via Deadline:
Mark Cuban (Shark Tank) has been cast as President of the United States and political commentator/author Ann Coulter will assume the duties of Vice President in Syfy/The Asylum’s Sharknado 3. The latest installment of the pop culture phenomenon will cause mass destruction in Washington, D.C. before roaring down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida. It will premiere on Syfy in July.
Previously announced cameos in Sharknado 3 include Bo Derek as May, the mother of April (Reid); Jerry Springer, appearing as Mr. White, a manic tourist; *NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard; and Chris Jericho, as Bruce the roller coaster ride operator.
The “Sharknado” movie series has become a huge money-maker for Syfy. When the sequel – Sharknado 2: The Second One – aired last summer, it became the most-watched original movie in the network’s history.
An enormous part of the appeal of the films is the over-the-top/tongue-in-cheek humor played throughout the sci-fi film.
Another huge asset is the action hero studliness of leading man Ian Ziering. Like a fine wine, Ziering has aged very, very well. Take a look below from his appearances in Las Vegas as the Chippendales special celebrity host.
Yeah, that sells tickets… 🙂
Mark Cuban To Business Owners: “Just Say ‘No'” To Same-Sex Couples Getting Married
Billionaire Mark Cuban joins advisory board of Athlete Ally
Athlete Ally announces via press release that Dallas Mavericks owner and philanthropist Mark Cuban has joined the advisory board of their organization which looks to fight homophobia in sports.
Cuban, an advocate of LGBT rights and gay inclusion in the NBA, has said he would be honored to have an openly gay player on the Mavericks. Cuban will advise Athlete Ally on its programming to help make sports a more welcoming environment for both LGBT athletes and fans.
“It’s a new world. Everyone should know that they can be themselves in sports. Leagues like the NBA, their teams and players have a great opportunity to set an example and spread a message to people who are either LGBT or straight that our culture should be celebrated for diversity and individual authenticity.”
ATHLETE ALLY encourages all individuals involved in sports to respect every member of their communities, regardless of perceived or actual sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, and to lead others in doing the same.
