HRC Announces First Black Woman President

A year after the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) fired its previous president, Alphonso David, for his role advising former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on how to respond to sexual harassment allegations, the LGBTQ advocacy group announces Kelley Robinson as its new president. Robinson, the executive director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, will be the first Black woman to lead the HRC. Continue reading
