British pop-star Jesse J is the first international invited to participate in Chinese singer competition, Singer.
The show is much like American Idol but with established singers competing instead of unknown hopefuls.
Jesse J knocked it out of the park this past week with a cover of Whitney Houston’s hit song, “I Have Nothing” from her film, The Bodyguard.
Watch Jesse as her soaring vocals and exquisite phrasing more than live up to the daunting task of covering Miss Whitney.
You have to wonder why she’s not a bigger star with all this going on.
