Via the Chippendales, you may remember James Davis a runner-up on The Amazing Race a few years ago.
And yes, he looks just like that 😉

Las Vegas Magazine’s recent photo shoot with the world famous Chippendales captures the sexy men at a sweaty, midnight workout.
Each of the men also took time to do a little Q&A. Here’s what James Davis (you may remember from his #2 finish on The Amazing Race a few seasons back) had to share.
• Favorite TV show right now? Stranger Things.
• Three non-physical traits that attract you to another? Musical taste. Taste in movies. And taste in literature.
• Favorite childhood cartoon? Beavis and Butt-Head.
• If a genie granted you three wishes, what would they be? Bring back The Doors. Now, this sounds so hippy-dippy, but, bring peace and love to this earth. And I wish I could sing opera.
• Best dish you can make? Steak and potatoes.
• If I’m home alone I’m? Nerding out on comic books.
• Favorite cereal? Lucky Charms.
• Favorite dance move? Hip thrust/body roll. It’s a move we do in our show every 25 seconds (laughs).
• The perfect date is? Unplanned and spontaneous. Sometimes the best plan is no plan.
• Favorite musical genre? Metal. I was in a metal band for 12 years; I did vocals.
• If you were on a deserted island, what three things would you want to bring? All my CDs I collected throughout the ’90s. My French bulldog, England. And I’d bring Bear Grylls.

James Davis of the Chippendales |
It has been brought to my attention that today is National Underwear Day!
And it just so happens that the Chippendales are shooting their latest calendar this week and sharing pics from “behind the scenes” on their Instagram account.
But for just a second, can we be happy enjoying that which is the fab James Davis?
Celebrate!
Las Vegas radio station Mix 94.1 is holding it’s second season of their on-air competition “The Matchelor.”
The campaign is designed to find women to be a part of a weekly competition with eliminations happening every week (just like the Bachelor) that culminates in making a “match” with James Davis of the Chippendales and The Amazing Race.
James Davis is a huge fan favorite in the Chippendales show at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. In the Chippendales show, in addition to showing off this hard-bodied stud, he plays live guitar during the production.
For detail on how you can apply to become James’ “match” – click here.
By the way – why stop with only one calendar shot of James?

James Davis (L) and Jaymes Vaughan (R) at Market Days in Chicago |
Chicago got a treat this weekend with Market Days bringing tons of music to one of the biggest festivals in the country. And among the music makers was James Davis and Jaymes Vaughan, Chippendales and Amazing Race favorites.
Um,… yeah, I’d watch them play and sing.
Give me a moments here…
Jaymes & James – Team Chippendales from “The Amazing Race” – are releasing their first single, “Light Up the Skies,” produced by Tanzer, and available at iTunes and Amazon.
The Chippendales breakout stars of CBS’ “The Amazing Race” have gone musical. Or if you want to get technical, they’ve actually just gone back to their musical roots.
“Long before Chippendales ever happened, we were both in music,” explains Vaughan.
Vaughan (Jaymes) has released several pop songs in the past and performed in various reviews throughout the world, while Davis (James) has fronted several successful progressive metal bands, including most recently, My Name Engraved. Both have had success in their individual music careers but never released any collaborative efforts, until now.
For the first single off their upcoming EP, the duo has teamed up with international producer Tanzer to blend their styles and create the dance track “Light Up The Skies.”
But, the song is more than just about having fun, for the duo it has real meaning too.
“To me it’s about losing my Dad and making the most of every moment after to make him proud,” says Vaughan. “I told him he’d see me win a Grammy one day, and dammit I am still gonna make that happen!”
Davis adds “But, it’s also about us taking the leap to start this musical journey together,” says Davis. “It’s even got a few hints of the fear you face when starting a new relationship – something for everyone.”

Amazing Race winners The Beekman Boys says they’ve received more than 8,000 letters of congratulations from various fans. One of them happened to be from a woman who says her son Colin is gay and bullied:
In response, Brent and Josh asked each of the teams on this year’s show to send a message of support to Colin, and all of them did so.
