Trump Supporter Accuses Former Cruz Staffer Of Having Affair With Cruz On Live TV

Wow. This went downhill fast.

Mediaite sets the scene:

A CNN debate between a Donald Trump supporter and former Ted Cruz communications director Amanda Carpenter went off the rails Friday when the Trump supporter suddenly accused Carpenter of having an illicit affair with her former boss.

CNN’s Kate Bolduan was hosting a segment on the feud between Trump and Ted Cruz. “Are you ready for Trump to move on?” she asked Boston Herald columnist Adriana Cohen.

“Oh, absolutely I think we should move on,” she responded. “Where we should move to is The National Enquirer story that has reported that has Ted Cruz has had affairs with five mistresses, including you’ve been named as well, Amanda.”

“I don’t think that’s ‘moving on’ at all, Adriana,” an exasperated Bolduan interrupted.

“If we’re going call Donald Trump’s character into question, I would like Ted Cruz to issue a statement whether or not the National Enquirer story is true, that he has had affairs with many women, including you were named, Amanda,” Cohen repeated. “Will you denounce this story or will you confirm it?”

Note Cohen’s smug face as her little “mean girl” move plays out.

It’s no wonder she’s a Trump supporter.

Donald Trump Tries To Backpedal On “Schlong” Remark

To be clear, everyone knows that “schlong” is a Yiddish word for “penis” or “dick.” When Trump said Hillary Clinton got “schlonged” in the 2008 election, he meant she got “dicked” or “fucked.”

He knows that’s exactly what he meant. Now, he’s backpedaling because his uncontrolled rant is getting backlash.

Can we really have a president who uses the word “schlonged”?

Congressional Staffer Elizabeth Lauten To Resign After Calling Obama Kids Classless

Karma is a bitch. And it would seem no one knows that better today than (former?) communications director for GOP Congressman Stephen Fincher, Elizabeth Lauten.

As I reported over the weekend, Ms. Lauten took the Book of Face and criticized Malia and Sasha Obama for not showing enough “class” when attending this year’s Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon, a light-hearted holiday event at the White House.

MNSBC is now reporting that the high priestess of all things “class” is in the process of resigning, which is appropriate.

Lauten then deleted the rant, and posted this “apology” which also quickly disappeared:

Politics is a strange game, yes. But there are rules. And one hard and fast rule is that children of politicians are out of bounds. Period.

It’s strange that someone with the title “Communications Director” – whose skill sould be understanding the media and messaging of a congressman – would be so tone deaf. Her job would be to put out fires, not start them.
