Gay Star News: Professional English Rugby player Levi Davis (above) has come out as bisexual – a first for a professional player with his career still ahead of him. The 22-year-old is also famous for his other love – music. Last year he formed a band to take part in the Celebrity X Factor competition and got through to the semi-finals.

Attitude Magazine: “I realized that being gay and growing up around people and in a culture where that wasn’t celebrated – where it was reviled, in many ways – had an impact on me. Happy as I am, I’m still working out the fear I grew up with: that by revealing who I really am, I will somehow lose the love of the people who are important to me.” – Jim Parsons in a new interview with the UK publication.

Lambda Legal: A federal district judge ruled in favor of a woman who was denied Social Security survivor benefits after her partner of more than two decades had passed away. Helen Thornton and Marge Brown lived as a couple for 27 years, purchasing a home together, and raising a child. Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman

The Atlantic: “They may or may not have dirt on him (Trump), but they don’t have to use it. They have more effective and less risky ways to employ him. He has aspirations to be the kind of leader that Putin is, and so he admires him. He likes authoritarian strongmen who act with impunity, without checks and balances. So he’ll try to please Putin. In the Army we call this ‘free chicken,’ something you don’t have to work for — it just comes to you. This is what the Russians have in Trump: free chicken.” – former National Security Council official Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman.

“It’ll start getting cooler. You just watch,” said Trump.

“I wish science agreed with you,” Crowfoot replied.

“I don’t think science knows actually,” Trump remarked with a smirk.

Tweet Of The Day

Sometimes, the Twitters can do awesome things. 🙂

For those of you who haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame, avert your eyes…

Twitter user John Grosjean remixed Captain America lifting Thor’s hammer during the penultimate fight sequence with the 1986 song “The Touch” (from the Transformer movie) and it’s quite the perfect pairing.

First Trailer For ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Marvel dropped the trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame flick which lands in theaters April 24.

With half of the Avengers really gone after super-bad guy Thanos obliterated them with a snap of his fingers in the last installment, Chris Evans’s Captain America (back to a clean-shaven twunk) leads the remaining heroes on a mission to bring everyone back from the dead.

I was digging Evans’ beard, though…

Joining the good captain are Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), plus Nebula (Karen Gillian), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Ant Man (Paul Rudd), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and newly-minted Marvel box office champ, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

Trailer – “Avengers: Infinity War”

Marvel Studios dropped the trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War today and it looks a-mah-zing!

Just about every single Marvel hero from the past few years is in this including three “Chris’s” – Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt.  (They couldn’t find a role for Chris Pine???)

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Advance tickets for “Infinity War” went on sale on Fandango at 6AM this morning and by noon it surpassed the two previous top two record holders: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Black Panther.

In theaters April 27.

p.s. don’t even get me started on Chris Evans’ woofy beard and long hair…

New Spider-Man Drops In For New “Captain America: Civil War” Trailer

The new Spider-Man finally makes his debut in the latest trailer for “Captain America: Civil War.”

Iron Man calls on Spidey (or “Underoos,” as he hilariously refers to him), who’s evidently on his team, to use his web powers to steal Captain America’s shield and bind his arms.

“Hey, everyone,” Tom Holland’s character then says, perched on a car roof, in the final moments of the second trailer.

In theaters May 6, the action flick pits Captain America (Chris Evans) against Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
