Carly Fiorina Falls Off Stage After Introducing Ted Cruz At Campaign Stop

After introducing Sen. Ted Cruz and family at a campaign stop, “running mate” Carly Fiorina fell off the front of the stage.

First she dropped like a rock in the GOP White House hopeful standings, and now this.

Trump supporters immediately took to social media to note that Cruz didn’t even notice the fall, continuing to shake hands with his supporters.

Stephen Colbert On Fiorina’s Singing: “It’s like Disney gave the wicked stepmother her own song”

I haven’t written yet about Ted Cruz’s rather gutsy move to announce a running-mate before he actually becomes the Republican presidential nominee.

Mainly because I didn’t really know what to make of it. Or what to make of Carly Fiorina’s rather creepy singing to Ted’s children at the announcement.

Stephen Colbert just about nails it though.

From Towleroad:

“I’m still reeling from the news out of the Ted Cruz campaign. First, that there is still a Ted Cruz campaign….second, that he named a running mate yesterday. That is bold.”

Colbert applauded Cruz’s “huevos rancheros” for choosing a running mate so early in the game, and then proceeded to liken it to the captain of the Titanic announcing a “vice captain” as the ship is going down.

But Colbert saved the most glee to mock Fiorina’s “lullaby” for Cruz’s children: “It’s like Disney gave the wicked stepmother her own song.”

Carly Fiorina Endorses Ted “Say Anything To Get Elected” Cruz

Back in early January, then-Republican White House hopeful Carly Fiorina told CNN that Ted Cruz will “say anything to get elected.”

Today, Ms. Fiorina endorsed Cruz:

“Ted Cruz is a fearless fighter for our constitutional rights. He has spent his life protecting Americans’ God-given liberties, and he has always stood by his word. Unlike the status-quo political class in D.C., Ted Cruz didn’t cower when he got to Washington – he stood unequivocally for the American people. I know Ted, and he’ll do the same as president,” said Carly Fiorina.

Expect to see more Republicans changing course on Cruz as they grow fearful of Trump’s (very possible) candidacy.

Already Sen. Lindsey Graham has said in recent days that he will hold his nose and vote Cruz rather than see Trump become the 2016 presidential nominee.

Here’s Fiorina telling CNN’s Dana Bash what she really thought about Cruz in January. Check the 2:25 mark.

Carly Fiorina Reminds Us She Was Still In The GOP Presidential Race – Until Today

Twitter got all happy about the news. ‘Bye Felecia!

Campaign Ad: A Republican Salute To Hillary Clinton

Current GOP nominees praise Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton.

Emphatically.

Oh – of course, this was all before she began to run for prez.

How quickly they turn.

Very effective ad in that it literally uses their own words (Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Donald Trump) from not long ago.

Homerun.

Carly Fiorina Surges In Polls After Strong Debate Performance

Two new polls show Carly Fiorina surging after a strong debate performance on Wednesday night.

According to a new Voter Gravity poll of 2,839 New Hampshire Republican Primary voters, they put Fiorina in the number one spot with 22%. Donald Trump trails her at 18%, and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson landing at third with 10%.

Additionally, a new CNN/ORC poll shows Trump has fallen 8 points in that national poll while Fiorina jumped an amazing 12 points.

Those numbers put Trump at 24%, Fiorina at 15% and Carson at 14%.

Sen. Marco Rubio saw a bounce from his showing at the debate jumping 8 points from 3% to 11%.

Thirty one percent of those polled said Trump was the loser of the debate, 52% said Fiorina was the victor.

Carly Fiorina: “Women All Over This Country Heard Very Clearly What Mr. Trump Said”

Via CBS News: Carly Fiorina was given the opportunity to respond to comments Trump had made insulting her appearance.

He later said he was talking about her persona.

“Mr. Trump said to me that he heard Mr. Bush very clearly and what Mr. Bush said. I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said,” she said, getting applause from the crowd.

“I think she’s got a beautiful face and I think she’s a beautiful woman,” Trump responded.

Carly Fiorina To Donald Trump: “Look At This Face”

While the context of the statement – “Look at this face” – is directed at “Democrats” the inference is clear.

Carly Fiorina drops her new campaign ad in response to last week’s reports that Donald Trump made disparaging remarks about the way Fiorina looks.

Lately, hitting back at The Donald got you in his crosshairs. We’ll see if he slaps back.
