With 62% of estimated votes counted in California’s primary, former Fox News host Steve Hilton (R) and former state Attorney General and congressman Xavier Becerra (D) are holding the top two spots to advance the November election for governor.

With the California primary just three days away, the final poll from Emerson College Polling shows Democrat Xavier Becerra – former California Attorney General and U.S. congressman – leading the pack in the governor’s race with 28%.

A new poll shows a major shift in the California governor’s race after former Rep. Eric Swalwell, who was once a frontrunner, dropped out of the election following several allegations of sexual misconduct.
Emerson College conducted the poll right after Swalwell exited the race and Donald Trump endorsed Republicans billionaire Steve Hilton.

The Supreme Court will allow California to use a new voter-approved congressional map, a big win for Democrats ahead of this year’s midterm elections.

A federal judge has ruled Donald Trump’s deployment of nearly 5,000 military troops in Los Angeles in June was illegal.
