SNL Cold Open With ‘Donald Trump’ In Front Of Courthouse

This week’s cold open for Saturday Night Live featured ‘Donald Trump’ (James Austin Johnson) holding a press conference outside “his new home, the barricades outside of a Manhattan courthouse.” Right from the get-go the Donald complains about his experience these past few weeks: “They say very mean things about me while I’m trying to sleep.” He also explains that he would LOVE to testify in the case: “I’m not afraid to testify at all. I’m just not going to, out of fear. You see, they do a terrible thing when you testify, which is they write it down, and we don’t like that.” We also see a member of the jury by accident at which point Trump encourages his followers to dox her. And some of his possible “running mates” make brief appearances, including South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and puppy-murdering Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota.
