(graphic via CBS News/YouGov) A new CBS News/YouGov poll found supporters of Donald Trump trust Trump to tell them the truth more than friends and family. Of those who voted for the Donald in 2020, 71% believe what Trump tells them is true, while 63% consider information from their family to be true. The survey also found that among those who say it’s very important a nominee is honest & trustworthy, Trump leads with 61%. If that isn’t irony, I don’t know what is… His nearest competitor, Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, garnered only 17% on that question. Seventy-three percent of Trump voters say they are considering Trump to show their support during his legal battles.
