Pablo Alborán Joins Medical Drama ‘Breathless’ + More News

Some news items you might have missed: • Gayety: Out Spanish pop star Pablo Alborán is joining the cast of Netflix’s hit Spanish-language medical drama Breathless (Respira) for its highly anticipated second season. • New Music: Tony Award winner and Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo announces her second album, I Forgive You, will be released June 6. Her new single “Worst of Me” drops this Friday, April 11, on all music streaming services. The Advocate: U.S. WorldPride 2025 organizers are considering warning international transgender travelers to stay away amid escalating fears under Trump. • AL.com: Bills are working their way through the Alabama legislature that would prohibit public school teachers at all grade levels from discussing “gay” or gender identity. The legislation would also prohibit the display of pride flags  in the classroom. • USA Today: The gay Venezuelan hairdresser we’ve all read about who was sent to El Salvador’s prison was deported based on a report by a disgraced former Milwaukee cop with a history of lying and credibility issues. Axios: Stocks fell yet again today, erasing a big chunk of yesterday’s rebound. The S&P 500 ended the day down 3.5%, the Nasdaq fell by 4.3% and Dow was down 2.5%. • White House: Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to end “the Obama-Biden war on water pressure and make America’s showers great again.” Because that’s what’s important…? • them: A transgender military pilot filed a defamation lawsuit against a conservative influencer who falsely claimed on social media that she was flying the helicopter that collided with a commercial jet near Reagan National Airport in January, killing 67 people.
