One Million Moms Concernstipated Over Jewelry Ad

The virulently anti-LGBTQ group One Million Moms (which doesn’t really have a million members) is oh-so-concernstipated over jewelry company Pandora including a same-sex couple in a recent ad-spot. The statement from OMM reads in part:

Jewelry company Pandora, through its liberal advertising choices, is attempting to normalize the LGBTQ lifestyle. A recent Pandora commercial, “Loves, Unboxed,” includes a lesbian couple hugging and kissing.

The commercial depicts special gift-giving moments with various groups of people: friends, a traditional family (man, woman, and little girl), and a mother and daughter.

Unfortunately, Pandora also blatantly throws homosexuality in the viewer’s face with the lesbian couple’s intimate embrace.

Pandora should avoid aiming to please a small percentage of consumers while pushing away conservative customers; however, it seems that the company wants to clarify their stand on this controversial topic instead of remaining neutral in the culture war.

One Million Moms must remain diligent as we continue to stand up for biblical truth, including passages such as Romans 1:26-27, which prohibits sexual perversion of this type. Scripture repeatedly states that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful behavior.

Also, while there is concern about how this advertisement is pushing the LGBTQ agenda, it is also of great concern that this commercial is airing when children are likely to be watching.

The spot is actually quite lovely. Glad to get the heads-up about where to shop for jewelry. https://youtu.be/tTPiz7UHnUk?si=UKFlG1b1gLn62T1b (h/t JoeMyGod)
