A little Throwback Thursday action here as I reach back to Dame Olivia Newton-John’s 2005 album, Stronger Than Before.
The title song was my favorite from the collection (Olivia’s 20th studio album) although there are many other terrific tracks including “Phenomenal Woman” and an updated take on Olivia’s hit “Don’t Stop Believin.”
Basking in the glow of Olivia’s state memorial in Melbourne this past Sunday, the lyrics of “Stronger Than Before” feel like she’s still telling her own story.
The video is from Olivia’s 2008 concert DVD release Live at the Sydney Opera House. The concert was shot in March 2006 with her band and the Sydney Symphony conducted by Rick King.
