The Norway Postal Service presents its utterly charming Christmas short-film, “When Harry Met Santa.”
After two previous years of humorous shorts, this year the theme is love, and inspired by the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality.
In last year’s campaign, Santa was angry at Norway Post, which took away from him the “business.” This year Santa is happy that Norway Post can relieve him a little, so that he can be with the one he loves, says Monica Solberg, director of marketing .
The idea for the campaign stems from the insight that in 2022 it is 50 years since it was no longer a crime to be gay in Norway – that you could love whoever you wanted.
