Lance Bass (NSYNC) will host the third annual A Night of Pride with GLAAD during Super Bowl week featuring a special performance by VINCINT along with special guests out NFLer Carl Nassib, NFL correspondent Ryan Mitchell, and GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. The event promises an evening of music, cocktails, and conversations with GLAAD, the world’s leading non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ media advocacy and cultural change. The National Football League’s family of brands and partners will gather to spotlight advances in LGBTQ inclusion in professional sports as well as the NFL’s commitment to LGBTQ players and fans.
Presented by Smirnoff, A Night of Pride with GLAAD will include a panel discussion on how inclusion in sports advances acceptance for LGBTQ people, featuring veteran pass rusher Carl Nassib, who became the NFL’s first openly gay player to play in a regular-season game. GLAAD president and chief executive Sarah Kate Ellis said:
“[Our] partnership with the NFL is committed to creating spaces where all fans can celebrate and to growing important visibility for LGBTQ fans at the Super Bowl and all season long.”
An LGBTQ inclusion event was held during Super Bowl week in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and this season. It’s one of dozens of community-themed events held every year. A Night of Pride with GLAAD Red Carpet will begin at 7:30 p.m. PT, with coverage across CBS Sports, GLAAD, and NFL social channels. https://twitter.com/outsports/status/1751672166226014691
